Platinum token?

Always wondered this... what is the trade value of a platinum token. Is it reasonable to accept a low level exo?

1 plat is probably worth the value of a low level or mid tier rare.

I traded an Helm of Chaos for 1 Plat and 5x Golds. Another bid with 1 Plat and 3x Golds was rejected from another player.

I don't know if I "ripped" it off or if I was ripped myself, but I remember there were a lot of HoC on trade and barely one was bidded. It's a nice equip to use... I was happy he accepted just tokens.

I've been out of circulation for awhile, but I believe a Platinum Token is worth a top quality rare- and thus probably could get you the cheapest of an exotic- such as Nora Freeze or Forge Hammer.

They can not be crafted the way Gold tokens can and are ingredients in several recipes so they have greater value- even a little more than double the value of a Gold.

Yep I would have to agree w/this statement. It is definitely worth a top tier rare, which in some occassions can be traded for a really low exotic, mostly a craftable one like voodoo, etc.

It is always going to be a matter of opinion. If you and the person you are trading with feel a pitspawn is worth 2 plats then you both win. Granted if you find someone with a pitspawn willing to do this let me know :P.
