Help me please

not too long after i got my beta invite, i started having trouble playing games in AG or DoW. about every 10 seconds in a match it lags REALLY bad for me. its at the point where i usually only get 35 seconds on my turn to do stuff and i miss a lot of stuff my oponant does because of the lag.

Does anyone know what might be causing this?

Are you using the beta downloaded client or something like that? Or are you using the Java client for beta and also java client for normal? Or are you using java client for beta and downloaded client for normal?

If it is both java, try using the downloaded client for normal then (I assume that you're using windows, otherwise we got a problem) because the beta client might somehow leave files that cause the lag when used by the normal client.

Also, are you only noticing this within Poxnora or also on internet/other games?

ok i downloaded windows for the normal game and i launched beta from the web. So far the lag only happens on poxnora and only when i play campaign/AG/DoW

Try updating your java client perhaps. Perhaps Java 1.6 or higher will solve that, it is worth a try.
