Rules/Announcements:

Well, I am finally back. I want to thank Sackett for at least trying to keep the Store going, even if he did burn out last summer. (Sackett has told me that running a store is much harder than he thought it would be, and he will never agree to do it again). My health has actually been much better for the last 3 or 4 months, although I am not fully recovered.

I'm going to be incommunicado Christmas to New Years (probably until Jan 7th). However I wanted to get my store back up so that people can get their credits out. I decided to refund all the reservation fees, as I assume most people have already obtained those specific runes through other means.

Anyone who already has credits can post during my absence and I will fill the orders in order when I get back. (I feel like this is something I can offer to give my poor customers some kind of consideration for the store closing). I figure that some of you might want to wait until the new runes start to fill up.

Also, since I've been gone a long while and have little exposure to the new runes, please feel free to give me any advice on prices- I'll probably refresh my prices before opening when I get back.

Basics for the simple purchase:
There are only three things you need to worry about.

1: Price: Scroll down for Inventory, every rune has a price associated with it. This is the trade in price.

2: Overstock: If I have 5 or more of a rune I only pay half the trade-in price for another one of those runes. OVerstock is also half price when purchasing. (I have 6 or more in my inventory).

3: 20% Tax: When purchasing a rune the cost to you is the trade-in + 20%. Which is easiest to calculate this way: Trade-in Price multiplied by 1.2

Remember that I am not online Sundays, so please create longer trades if you are posting on Saturday night or Sunday.

Store:

This store operates on a percentage basis. A 20% tax on purchases, paid at checkout.

There are no Tiers, and no difference between credits based on rarity. You can trade in commons and use those credits towards a Lich King if you want.

Reservations:

I am currently not taking reservations.

Price Changes:
As Octopi keeps changing runes rarity and playability, I need the flexibility of being able to change prices.

CP:

CP on Trade-ins: I only give credit for CP on Exotics.

CP value = Amount of CP, so 1 CP = 1 credit

Example: Finlord w/ 200 CP = 5600 + 200 = 5800

Very Important!
Overstock rules:

Similar to other stores, I have overstock rules. Any rune that will be the 6th in my inventory will receive half store credit. I do not accept any runes that will push an inventory over 10.

Thus the break points are 5 runes, and 10 runes.

If you make an Overstock error I reserve the right to go onto the next trade- unless you specifically tell me you want me to make the trade despite overstock trade-in value reductions.

Comment on prices:
Prices at this store are internally priced, and do directly compare to other stores.

You many notice that I price some of the newer runes lower than other stores. This is for few reasons. Sometimes it's because I'm sure a new rune is going to get nerfed. Other times it's because I think excitement about the new runes are making people over value them.

Please follow the following pattern in ordering:

Note: For large Trade orders, I would appreciate it if you organized them by factions. That helps me speed up the inventory update process.

Credit Trading:

I am really excited about this idea. Essentially it allows people to trade credits on the Trader.

Here is how it works. You have an account with me containing Credits. You see a rune on
the Trader that you want. You can offer to trade some of the Credits you hold in my Store to the other person for their rune. If that person accepts, I will transfer the credits to that person, and they can use them to buy what ever they like at my store.

Very important: This is the order such a trade would take:

Bidder:
1: You trade in to gain credits at my Store.

2: You find an item on the Trader you want

3: You post in my Store Thread that you are making an offer of xxx Amount of Credits to (Name of Seller)

4: You post a bid (using a Bronze or something) offering xxx Amount of Credits at my store. You include 2 Links. One link to the first page of my Store/Bank, so that the person can see you have the credits. And a link to the page where you posted in my Bank thread that you are making an offer. (See step 3 for Bidder) This is very important, as it allows the Seller to check and make sure that you have the credits, and that you have actually bid them.

Boltac:
1: When I see the post made by the Bidder (see Bidder step 3) I will deduct those credits from your main account and put them in a holding account that will show on the main page of the Bank: "Holding: xxx Credits for (Name of Seller)"

This is my guarantee. If you as a Seller sees this you that means you will get those credits if you accept the offer.

The Seller:
1: Sees the bid, follows the link to see the bidders credit balance. If you see that I have placed Credits in a holding account for you- you have my guarantee that you will receive those credits. (See Boltac Step 1)

2: If this has not taken place, you may check the second link provided by the Bidder to make sure he has posted his intent to trade in my thread. If he has enough credits in his account to cover this amount it, you should be able to accept and receive your credits. DO NOT accept if he does not have enough credits. I won't guarantee this, just
in case the Bidder has tried to exploit the system somehow. You're acceptance should be based on your trust of the Bidder. If I do discover any abuse, I will punish/confiscate/ban that Bidder. I'm providing this option just in case I'm off-line and the trade is about to expire.

3: Accept or reject the bid. If you accept, post in my Bank stating your acceptance, with a link to the completed trade. (You may also make an order at this time)

Rejected Bidder:
1: If your bid is rejected you will need to post in the Bank thread with a link to the rejected bid so that I can return the credits in the holding account to your main account.

Boltac:
2:When I see either the accepted or rejected bid, (and after checking the link) I will process the transfer of credits.

I hope this will be of great benefit to the Pox community. Currently I do not intend to charge for this service.

Clearing House/Guarantee for Paypal:New! A thank you to Willylw for this idea.

When you make a Paypal Trade for Poxnora runes you often need to trust that the person will complete the trade. I will provide two services that can help with this.

Clearing House: The seller trades his runes to me. Once the Paypal transaction goes through I then trade the runes to the buyer. This is probably only attractive for high value runes such as exotics/LE. So in exchange for this service I will charge a flat fee of 300 Credits.

Guarantee: The seller has traded in for credits at my store. In the paypal deal, the seller puts up x amount of credits in my Bank as collateral (this could attract more bidders as there is some guarantee the trade will go through). The seller must post in my thread that he has put these credits up as collateral. I will place it in a holding account (similar to the Credit Trading program described above). If the runes are not delivered after payment has been made those credits will be transferred to the buyer. My fee for this will be 10% of the credit amount (charged at the time the Credits are placed in the Holding account) up to a maximum fee of 200 credits.

Okay... I am back. A lot later than I thought I would, but I am back.

Curse my cousin who thought getting married in winter would be great since the family would be together for Christmas anyways. It was a good thought but it meant I had to drive part of the way instead of fly- and thrice be d---ed on the snow and the Blue Mountains. I swear that was a white knuckle drive.

Anyway, I've been in a car for hours tensed up trying not to crash, and I really just want to hit the sack, and then I got to be at work early tomorrow, plus I missed my first class of the semester... so what I'm trying to say is that I am here, and I am working on this- just things are a little crazy right now, and I'll try to get things ship shape tomorrow, but it might not happen until late Friday.

I'm not entirely sure what the pricing is nowadays. I know they both used to be top exotics, but I checked three different stores (unfortunately Osmo isn't around anymore) and they all seemed to price the Skeezick General above the Spirit Singer.

Pricing fluctuates somewhat these days, especially with the recent buff patches, and the increase in morons willing to pay INSANE amounts on the trader for a rune. It might take a while to get a coherent price structure back.
