So with this coming expansion FW is actually getting some runes!

As for FF runes... not so much...

Our best 2runes mostlikely will only be good in 10/10 trick decks.

In fact some of our runes only seem to work in 10/10's.

So FF FW won't be getting nerf calls this expansion. However FW will still get a ton of nerf calls because of how our runes run in 10/10s.

More shall be explained after release.

also, apparently throw bones got a nerf so that you can't use it on possessed units.

If they didnt nerf every instant kill in the game, then that is total BS.

no nerf to drown, no nerf to cliff diving, although FS did get a champ that grants global iron will.

Only reason it was nerfed was because early in beta titans didn't have iron will, so it could be instagibbed by the thow bones things so they nerfed it cause it countered their precious titans. Now the titans have ironwill but they didnn't unnerf throw bones.

That and throw bones, necrosis and sirens would have made it more abusable.


On other matters its only a matter of time before our Titan gets shoeboxed because of broken 10/10 combos

Would be nice to see if Octopi can help those factions that are effected terribly by drown.

yeah. It would also be nice if they are still going to fix arctic beast and deadwood strider, and save them from complete shoeboxedness

Somone was saying they are going to do last minute tweaks on a bunch of the runes, especially FW. I hope they were right.

I do too, since a fair few of the FW runes were poorly though out, and in need of some tweaks.

I just want the Queen and the E-Siren to be actually playable in FF! Then again, I'm not sure the Queen is playable in anything right now unless she gets tweaked.

she might be marginally useful in forcing the opponent to cast spell when you have two nefari torches out in a UD/FW bg, but thats a huge stretch from competitive still. She really needs some sort of support ability to make her worthwhile to run, I'd happily pay extra for it if it was decent.

The new siren was broken, getting fixed. Siren + implant could be used for an early game win much like first turn nora drain.

The lost queen was considered pretty useful by others. I guess it forces you to use an AE to kill it. Since you can keep popping them out, it can be pretty strong.

Everything else was bad

Also, echo chamber can shut down our soul sirens, and font explosion FS's new spell does 12 damage to everything in a deployment zone. So good by relics and using DMZ against FS.

Titan wasnt terrible in FF whatever you say, too powerful, yes, but not anything like what he could be elsewhere. I dont know about the lost queen, my experience was that its a situationaly rune at best, since its basically a beater that trades health for having to be finished off by a spell/summon etc. And in terms of forcing spell play, its not particularly nora efficient. Implant and siren is BS. Personally i was dissapointed on the whole though, since while the ideas were good, things like body jumper and the titan were always going to be things that are incredibly difficult to get the balance right on.

Did you think he was good without using auras on him? I didn't really think he was great asside from that. FS, ST, and SP titans seemed much better. KF and UD seemed much worse. I don't remember what the other two were like.

The new runes look interesting, not happy about Throw Bones though, was one of my favorite tricks to play:(.

he was plain useless without auras. Now, well hes still good in KF/FW, but thats it really.
