I don't think people give him enough credit, though I'll concede that I haven't played around with mine much yet.

Right now mine is 84 nora, at 9 speed, +6 hit points and Swarm: Skeleton.

That's fairly solid, if I wanted to give him Amp: Fire then he sits at 89 nora. He's certainly not as crucial to a battlegroup as a similarly priced Sheoul Demon or Pit Dragon, but that's simply the nature of our faction to count on those heavy hitting champs.

I wouldn't mind Ally: FW as an upgrade, but the thing only costs what, 1 or 2 nora? Not a big deal.

I think the only thing that needs fixing on this guy, is Set Ablaze needs to be reworked. It needs a freaking use, and it should be something snazzy.

The only other need for him that I could see is possibly giving him Spite/Scorn/Volatile, something that lowers his price just enough that we could consider one of the other snazzy abilities, or 11 speed.

The main problem I see with this champ is that he's just way too squishy for the price, 44 hit points, 9 defense, he could easily be one-rounded in todays game, which means you pretty much have to babysit him, he's not a loner champ like we've been spoiled with. I see him more as a champ that offers Fire Amp, and you can run in to get a killing blow and spawn a Skeleton at opportune times, and those skeletons rock.

The demon lich isn't a she. You know how you can tell, because pox cant make a female rune with out skintight armor, half naked and/or have huge boobs.

I dont play UD but I will agree that the demon lich is a very cool rune that needs a little reworking, I dont really get set ablaze. Why can he only light friends on fire?????

If they would atleast send that crappy Setablaze skill to the land of upgrades, that noone in their right mind would upgrade, then the Demon-Lich would be pretty good.

You see, it really doesn't need a buff per say, but it needs to lose that useless skill.

PS. Demon-Lich Isn't meant to be used in a fire BG anyway, as that would defeat the entire purpose of the Demon-Lich, she is suppost to be for FW/UD BGs, and FF Demon BGs, not Fire.

I had a really funny "No, the Demon Lich is just fine (sarcasm)" post on the old forums.

DL's problem is that he's not streamlined at all. He has fire synergy, and he has FW synergy, but FW has no fire!!!

This means that whatever build you make him, half of his abilities are sandbag. I vote his champ cost remains the same, and then move all abilities to upgrades. That way, if I run him in a UD/FW, I can reduce cost by not upgrading fire abilities. If I run him in a fire bg, I can reduce cost by dropping Ally:FW and stuff like that. This would make him what I think he's intended to be, a utility champ with exo benefits.

My second vote would be to buff his range to 2-4, 2-5, 3-6, or even 3-5 so that his swarm ability does not get him killed, currently with his low health, he dies whenever he gets close to combat. This would make him the next best thing, a support champ who provides cover fire.

My third vote would be to make him a hard-hitter. It's clear he's not intended for that, but it's better than being nothing. If that's the case, I'd suggest that his weaker abilities be all removed and replaced with something like "surge skeleton" This will allow him to be a monster in UD/FW skelle decks, while his short range and low health will let him be killable.

Considering the ability was changed last minute in Beta from a very powerful ability, to some broken mess that it is now. It needs to be relooked at.
