I haven't been playing ST as long as a lot of the others here, but the Golem build you have is what I run (as soon as I finish CP'ing them). A competative build is only Phys Resist 2 and the HP Upgrades (which it really is as I found out while CP'ing them up), but I find Resist 3 to be a lot more worthwhile for me. My Golems take 11 Dmg from a FF Pit Dragon with soon-to-be 73 Health (faction bonus with banner). That's saying something. Add in the helm after some of your champs get offed, and the thing becomes a monster.

At the advice of the other, more experienced popsicles here, I tried out the helm myself..it's worth every bit of it's Nora cost.

The standard build for a Shardmaster from my research on these boards is 9 Spd, 10 Dmg, Fire Vuln, and add Hp up to 79 Nora cost. From my limited experience it is very effective, even with only the Shard out.

The Shaman you may wanna try for 11 Spd, although 9 is definitely good. But when I used 9 Spd, I found out I couldn't get her to where and when I needed her most (from my experiences with her). By the time she got there, it was too late. She also was constantly getting engaged so even if I got there in time, she could barely get a shot off (very rarely 2) between cleansing and disengaging.

Arcadon I fully recommend, although I nixed them in favor of 2 Arctic Garus for the time being. I'm seeing how that pans out.

The Nora beasts I run as is (Out-of-the-Box) and they are very efficient at that Nora cost. 3 turns into the game and they already pay for themselves and start to turn a profit.

As for the other stuff, I'm not too sure as I'm not as knowledgable (I think I spelled it wrong) as the other players here (Goldmonkee, Davington, and others I'm sure I've forgot) and that my experiences are different with those runes.

The disciple is fun to play, he gives a lot of tactical freedom. And the free rock eater after the first attack is fun.
