Hi there,

I am new to this game and have thought about visiting Drums of War and maybe anything goes.... But I have some questions if you don't mind.

If you make a 10/10 deck, shall you always use two wrath or two protectorate groups then? Or can you use one wrath and one protectorate?

I have been in the Drums of War lobby some times now, and not seen people starting any games like in the training grounds, shall you do it like there or do you have to challenge some other player first before creating/joining games?

Are there any "Guildwars" so that you get more "action" beeing in a guild, or can you have fun as a freelancer?

Are there ever fights with only common/uncommon or do you have to have lots or rare/exotics?

I think that was all for now...

Regards,
Nithro

You can run wrath and protectorate together. For example I run a deck that is half K'thir Forest(KF) and half Sundered Lands(SL).

In the DoW lobby there is a button called "Ranked Game" in the upper lefthand corner. When you click on that you get to wait a little while as the system automatically matches you up with an opponent.

Guild functionality is still in its infancy for the most part. Some guilds do organize competitions amongst themselves but there's nothing official as of yet.

The rarity thing varies from faction to faction as well as from expansion to expansion. It really just depends on the current metagame. However, if you aren't heading all the way to top tier play you can usually do pretty well without having to amass countless rares or exotics. It's more about learning to play your deck and your deckbuilding skills than having the purple cards.

QFT - Though reading through Revenancer's guide and Molecl's Where SL is now will give you good ideas as to which runes are good in a BG.

Thank you both for the answers. I will keep on reading and see what I learn. Just managed to clear the protectorate on single player normal level. I think I learned a few things there since the last encounter was way easier than the first.... So now for the next level.
