Beating the Dorfs

Almost all my matches of late have been against freaking Ironfist, and they either are hard fought battles to victory or complete blow outs in favor of Ironfist. I like stealing there nora and all but they seem to be able to drop 11 spd heavy hitters like I do 69 nora skirmishers and don't even get me started on strip armor and Warcry having 3 freaking range. Still I find leeches and a spellsword to be must haves against them as the spellsword will tell you when RD is down and the leeches drink up all the nora. Still Talgar I would say is the best hero anymore with a fantastic vulnerability to get his cost down, initiate, a magic range attack and enough atk and damage to only let our bonus reduce his hits by 1-2 don't use Vindrax on him, do not use Vindrax on Talgar.

Everyone of these relates to a diffent Faction and who are you accusing of spamming, scampy? I think that says enough.

not really no, if I wanted to do that it would take all of about 5 minutes and there would be a "hey, how are you doing?" thread.

OK, stop messing around fighting about which idea of threads is better, please. It's fine with me if somebody feels a need to create a topic for each faction, he/she doesn't hurt anybody this way.

I wouldn't say that Talgar is best hero, so far I find Vinny much, much better, really. Thanks to Acid Breathe, of course.

I somewhat feel the pain of playing against IS and so far I found only one reasonable answer to their expensive but very effective champs: cheaper options. If you can deploy Leeches and Howlers for 53-59 nora they are surely cheaper than any IS champ (excl. nora miners, obviously). Leeching nora is amazing, I would say. Dragon Handler with Surge 2 costs only 71 nora (+6hp, 9spd) and can easily get +8dmg from those 4, for example.
I also think that Enslave+Acid Trap combo might be very helpful considering the fact how much IS is oftenly built around DKs.

I don't find RD that difficult as I find HS, tbh :)

the only difficulties I ever have with IS is with 2x armourered talgar. Since we lack any direct champ control, and they have spell and with 47 def attack resistance, plus blessed makes for a champion that is extremely hard to take down. even focused fire requires 5 or 6 champions and a drac bene to do it before a healer can reach him.

Surprisingly I haven't had too much trouble with the dorfs. If any heros come out I normally Vinny and Dready combo them...but that very expensive so maybe not a viable answer. Battle Fatigue helps a lot when they can only hit once so I highly recommend using that.

I beat IS more often then I lose to them, but when I lose to them it is always because of one or two things. I think Talgar is very near the top if not the top of the heroes because he has the best vulnerability, lightining what is that? and all those abilities. also he kills vindrax way too fast!

i find that on large maps if I can get up enough sand with the sand generator they phalanx just can't keep up with all my tunneling units, one of the best places I have done this is UD because of the two paths so my font stays easy to defend but one side gets totally covered in sand.
