So I've come up with another fun/uncompetitive deck. This one revolves around spamming cheap champions who buff one another. It's inspired by the Motivate ability. Champions in the deck fall into two categories- buffers and champ spammers. It's not enough to have a ton of passive buffs, you need to maximize the amount of champions being buffed too!

Note: champ speeds are even to account for KF half bonus

IS/KF

2x Vet Barb (+2 HP, 59 nora)
2x Barb Comander (8 speed, Battlemaster 3, +6 HP, 67 nora)
2x Deep Miner (Miner 3)
2x Houndmaster (+6 HP, 69 nora, lvl 2 Hounds have 9 speed with bonus)
1x Hvy Xbow
1x Hammerstrike

2x E Bard (+4 HP, 69 nora)
2x Snake Charmer (Drive, 56 nora)
1x E Prodigy (+4 HP, 64 nora)
2x Call Serpent
1x Regulate
1x Herby's Antidote
1x Nature's Raff

It may seem champ heavy but many of the champions are for support. Regulate is a wild card but it can make armies like UD cry as their Pit dragons are beat down by Miners.

Questions? Comments? Flames?

Yeah, kicked around adding that. Really there are a couple spell spots up for grabs in this deck. Thing with Banish is though that since everyone costs so little Banish isn't a big deal.

Yeah but if you buffed up a champion with +16 damage, + 40 ATK and +60 DEF, if it get banished, you are stuck with no real champions and just drained support champion.

Swap something out for a pair of mirrors and you've got yourself...Was it Tryo? ...One of my guildmates made a deck like this but had 2 mirrors for 4 bards and once it set up, all the motivating champs had +5atk/+5dam, and anything else had 6/6, not to mention spammable hymn......at least it doesn't stack now.

That's interesting. It's true that Bard is one of those champions who buffs all copies of itself, a prime cloning target. But on the other hand it seems really expensive. In a deck where you want to get as many champions out as possible 80 nora seems sort of steep. I did consider posting a circus build that used 2x Icevisor to add two more sources of Motivate...

Which reminds me here's a varition on the Motivate deck.

ST/KF

2x Icevisor thingy
2x Shardmaster
2x Polar Ant (13 speed, some damage buffs?)
2x Frostbow
2x Artic Garu

2x Elven Strat (Battlemaster 3, Relocate ally)
2x Bard
2x Brambles
1x Regulate
1x Vortex
1x Herbal Essence
1x Spiky Stunning Club of Cubs

This deck still has 4 sources of Motivate and 2 sources of Battlemaster 3. But it focuses less on creating a vast army of buffed creature and more on range domination. The key is the humble Polar Ant. The ant hangs back till the enemy is weak and then gets teleported in by the Strategist for the kill. With a ton of buffed up Ants running around things can get ugly quickly.

Even a light build starts at 63, with hp upgrades the most you'd be losing # wise is 14 or less. If a 3rd and 4th bard costs a little extra, I think the dramatically increased performance would be worth it.
I cringe at the ants, though the swarms'd be 10spd...

Why not do SL/KF with 9 speed swarmed rioters, bards, DB, etc?

SL/KF would be fun, easy to make a large army that way. Plus snake synergies! Buuuuuuut it's sort of getting away from the original concept of cramming passive unit buffs in. I suppose if you bite the bullet and throw two Grimirrors in you'd still have plenty of Motivation.

Actually there is some pleasing symetery to it. KF would fufill all the buff side. SL would provide the buttload of champions to be buffed.

What is he talking about? I don't see armorers and Battle Matrons in the deck build. We're talking passive buffs here, right?.... Right?

Yeah, I don't think he read the first post heh.
