Is fire just a fun theme or is it viable
i'm thinking something like this:

1x Grimlic
2x Abyssal Fiend
2x Lavaflow Devourer (full fire aura)
2x Fire Elemental (full fire aura)
2x Sheoul Demon
2x Deep Elf Summoner

2x Fireblast
1x Summon Borghas
1x Demon Shield
1x Mindslicer

4x ?

I like the fire aura's in combination of fire eater, fire amp, and borghas. The fire aura's also mean that i i should only use close combat beaters with fire protection. Also, i need more deep elves to satisfy the abyssal fiend. One idea is Nefari soul torch. The Question i have is if her healing ability triggers on fire eater heals. If Lavaflow's amped aura heals Sheoul Demon by 10 with Soul torch out, Does her ability deal amped fire damage to lavaflow healing him? If so, a cluster of elementals and lavaflow devourers seems like it would be hard to take down.
Another option is demon lich. He amps fire, is a demon elf to satisfy the abyssal fiend, and can gain fire eater, or fire immune.
Arachnodemon starts with fire immune already, and has a ranged fire attack.
Firestarter seems like he sucks but i could be wrong. Other options are firedancer, Imp, Incinerator, Nightmare, and Nefari Dragon.

I think Scorch the Earth would be useful if it created impeding lava, oh well.

Obviously this isn't the standard Sac Priestess UD deck. I'm new to the game, and trying to think outside the standard convention. I'd like your ideas about the viability of deck based on synergistic fire combinations.

Since you have open space, I'd include a Nefari Dragon or two. They have resist fire, but are also highly mobile, and simply have one of the best ranged attacks we got.

For your Soul Torch question, I'm pretty sure Fire auras trigger her. I know Grimlic's Fire bomb and fire nova on fire eaters trigger Torch, which hurts Grimlic (which sucks, but generally worth it). On the other hand, walking across lava does not trigger her to heal your Sheoul again.

Firestarter has some playability, and is fun to use...but he's really easy to use wrong and screw yourself over =/.

I really like Demon Lich. Although a fire immune/eater Demon Lich means his extra cool abilities, like swarm or lifedrinker, make him really expensive.

EDIT: Oh, since you want to run 2x Summoner, you might want to think about a Nefari Siphon. Imps + Siphon = nora nora!

EDIT 2: No Nefari Messenger? Drive will be worth it.

Demon Lich is a staple in fire decks because he can amp and he himself isnt bad too.

The deck looks woefully short on deep elfs t run the Abyssal Fiends on.

I think Grimlik, 2 summoners, 2 Demon Lich's, and a soul torch are maybe just enough deep elves for the abyssal fiends.
that means no room for nefari dragon or any other cool stuff. maybe fire elementals arnt worth it. the aura is only 6 damage, but i like it because its free. its about turning the disadvantage of hurting your own guys into an advantage, and getting those auras up to 9 or 10 through fire amp.
the demon lich's are gonna have to stay cheap. maybe just fire amp and fire eater, or fire immune. the other abilities are cool, but dont fit the strategy. in this build, his sandbag ability if immolating an ally is actually extra good. And he creates access to magic damage to deal with physical or fire immunes. the more damage types you have access to the better.

Actually soul torch can be replaced with the messenger. Maybe i can find another spot for her. She helps heal my elementals and lavaflow's, adds extra heal when i fireblast my guys, hoses enemy heals, and can fester enemy fire eaters or soul siphons for the mirror match. The best part is the soul torch ability is fire damage so it gets amped too.

I don't think these decks are all that viable anymore, after the amp change. You sacrifice quite a bit of UD staples to make a fire deck, before it was doable because of the +50% damage you dished out, but that's not really attainable anymore, at least not easily.

I'm sure you could still make it into the top 800 or so with it though.

You're still going to want Preistesses, they'll fulfill your Demon Elf quota, and they can still beckon all your champs aside from the Elementals. As for the Elementals, I'd probably drop them for Nefari Dragons. Even though the Fire Phalanx deck you're going for, with all the fire aura is fun... it's not all that competitive. A Summoner is a good choice too, as someone else pointed out.

Actually, if you really want to stick with the Fire Elementals rather than the Nefari Dragon, this is one of the few decks where a Grimlic's Treachery is viable. Cast Illusions on Grimlic, and you can easily do a good 12+ fire damage, ampable to everyone on the map, and it actually heals your Fire Elementals. Warning, prepare for mass whining from any KF player when you hit all his elves for over 30 damage.

Konger wins the most helpful comment award!

thanks thats what i probly already knew but needed to hear. The question is do i play for fun or play to win. I'd like to play for fun, but its no fun getting smashed by cookie cutter net decks. But that will be offset by the fun of hearing the k'thir people whine... hehehe. I had thought of using the treachery before but didnt think i had enough drow. I guess i'll keep tweaking until i find something that works.

sorry for choosing UD everyone. I guess i'm just another noob that dosnt want to play sac and priestess. :)

Play for fun to begin with, I started playing in Drums of War with a fire deck back when they were absolutely horrible. It was a phalanx deck like the one your considering, with Fire Aura healing eachother. It was a lot of fun for a little while, eventually you'll reach the rank where the deck just isn't competitive anymore, you'll get a little frustrated, then you'll know it's time to either keep playing random, fun decks and not worry about rank, or go with something more traditional and cookie-cutter and see how far you can really go.
