UD/IS BGs

anyone running a UD/IS BG at the moment.

thinking of trying out this combo, mainly to get access to some healing and AoE defence. yes, if i had a DK lying around around it would be lovely to pair him up with a Pit Dragon and maybe Summoner to have the Pit hitting 3x per turn.... if only.

playing an anti-range UD BG atm so gonna try and carry similar playing style over into 10/10 BG.

comments & suggestions welcome. i don't have any UD exos so Sheouls, Grimilcs etc are not an option.

I always get angry with my UD/IS decks since I don't have DKs and as such the deck's never as strong as it could be/should be. But the idea is a solid one - adding AOE defense and healing pretty much shores up UD's built-in weaknesses.

yeah i have a fun IS/UD BG and also lack exo so i make fun combos like

haveng maddening ecchoes and a impervious unit
the same but with unbending force!
unbending force on a ghalroon and let them feel the pain next round
of course u then sacrifice!

mmm also carry a strength of stone for fun, people usually dont read the logs and they dont get how u got resistence physical

and a real good one with UD damage bonus is strip armor.

gotta throw in a griffin rider. 97 nora for hp, damage, mobility and 11 speed. strip armor + barrage is sweet. try to keep the IS font bonus...+1 ap is better than ud's font bonus, most of the time.

I ran one of these not too long ago. Some fun potentials:

Earth God Sigil + Fire Eaters/Borghas
Deep Elf Monk + Granite Bracers
Beckon Rush + Unbending Force/Impervious

Plus, it just seems to fill almost all the holes UD has. You get Stat buffs from Barb Commander, Heals from Valdec or Priestess, Cleanse from Vial, and another great cheap range unit in Dwarven SS. Strip Armor is also a really great "Oops. I win!" spell.
