His/Her ability does way too much.

Its anti nora-gen and spell denial and then a nice ranged 13 damage unit. Way too swingy imo.
Pick one or up the nora cost, and shielding it would basiclly make it a super unit. Spell Surge isn't really a drawback as we have seen with other things worded like this, you'll just cast whatever you need after you use the rune.

Keep tempo as an upgrade, i think immune magic costs more nora but no shielding for her.

Thanks for the feedback, though I think you over over-exaggerating things a bit. First of all, it's not really "ranged," it's 2-4 range only after a turn your opponent has cast a spell on. 2-4 range is only regarded as mid-range to begin with, and 13 damage is relatively low for UD. Ritualist, Screaming Imp, Nefari Siphon, Soul Torch, all do the same amount, or more at 2-4 range base.

I know you are coming from the FS perspective, this rune would be the most powerful against FS since it kind of limits Marsh Song, but even then you'd still gain 30 nora from that spell. Saying it's Anti Nora-Gen and Spell Denial is a bit much, all it does is inhibit spells and only Marsh Song in terms of Nora Generation.

Saying that Shielded would make it a "Super Unit" makes me wonder if you are just joking at this point. When has anyone ever wanted Shielded? It's the most grossly over-costed ability in the game, I really just put it in there as an upgrade for flavor reasons.

Spell Surge isn't meant to be a drawback, that's why it costs 8 Nora, if I thought it was a drawback, it would reduce his cost. It's just meant to be there as an added layer of strategy, another thing for your opponent to consider before casting a spell, even if it's minor, and something the UD player can plan around. Say the unit is at 2-4 range, with 8ap, and engaged, could cast a spell, lowering his range to 1 to get those 2 melee hits off, or if he wants to attack at range, the Spell Suppressor would attack, and then the UD player would cast spells.

So I guess... thanks for the feedback, but in the future try not to be such a mindless zealot when looking at rune ideas? I like constructive criticism, but your view just seems like, "OMG I get 5 less nora from Marsh Song, and it costs 10 more nora to cast StE > FF! Overpowahd!" The idea is to make your opponent pay for spamming spells. Something that is currently over the top in the game right now, in my opinion.

I hope champs with mechanics like this start popping up soon, just like all of the anti-range abilities that have been showing up to limit range dominance.
