First poll, figured this rune needed a lot of work. Also, wanted to see how the poll thingamabob works.
Hmmm, can't seem to edit polls. Number 4 should be noted to be global damage. Bah. :(

I had a simmilar idea... so I support the global frost damage based on nora generated idea!
This spell needs something... anything!

I don't think global damage would be fitting, could we maybe have a font eruption style use to it, champions/relics in shrine/font deployment zones are dealt 7 frost damage, are frozen, and all fonts do not produce nora for 2 turns (starting on your opponents turn, so it *costs* more depending how many fonts you own, but gives you an advantage if your opponent owns more fonts).

good luck ^^
if they made it end after one turn of freezing your opponent it would work great imo...
but changing it to another standard frost damage spell kind of suck but would probably lead to it being played more anyway =/

I'm not feeling very creative at noon.
*shrug* I'll toss out global Frozen for duration.

BTW Soul Frost works through the current Nora Freeze, so you can continue to gain nora during a freeze, probably since it is a spell, but I wasn't sure so I tested it...
I'd like it to go back to 4 turns but that is what it was before the nerf, so I don't think Octopi would ever revert it.
What would be a good nora cost where people would actually think about including it in their BG? 15? Same cooldown of course.

like free...
let's put it at 30 nora, and 2 turns of nora lose.
this would reult in you gains 10 more nora then your opponent if neither of you have a font. then add an ability that makes it so you can't activate any more spells during that turn after activating it,(this prevents ANY abuse with nora drain, which is why it got nerfed in the first place.)
also remove the fact that it stops champion based nora gain and nora globes.
so to recap
1)no broken nora drain combo's.
2) lasts for one enemy turn, and the remainder of your turn, less frozen time means less anonoying.
3) allows your opponent to gain a little nora through globes/abilities and may give them that last bit of nora they need.
4) seems alot less annoying to play against this way then it used to be.
5) nora freeze will never be buffed =(

This will be the current suggestion for the rune then:
Nora Freeze
Cost: 35 nora
Description: Starting on this turn and ending one turn after, Nora generated by Shrines and Fonts is reduced to 0. After this spell has been cast, no additional spells may be cast for 3 turns (For both you and your opponent).
Essentially this spell costs 35 nora to deny 40+font nora from your opponent and blocking all spells for a round + your turn. Still undetermined about the nora cost but I think 35 - 45 would be fine.

Nora freeze isn't OPed, it's shoebox. :P
With that said, I think I'd support Calisk's suggestion. Maybe with frozen thrown in somehow, since I miss it and want more of it. :)

Its overpowered in the shoebox! How can broken bones compete against the likes of nora freeze!

I wouldn't mind seeing it turned into a global terrain changing rune. All squares on the map that are not chasms or mountains become impeding snow for one turn per 40 nora drained from your opponent (starting on your opponent's turn)
This would, of course, be coupled with a nora cost increase.
