i think glacial titan needs a small buff for create ice. y lose 5 health to put a lil block of ice next to u? heres wat i was thinking we do; one of these:

no health lose
2x2 ice block
1-4 range on the ice

wat do u think?

Currently, the "cost" of the ability is in the Health Loss as the nora cost is 0.

While Make Ice can certainly be improved, as others have said, the ST Titan doesn't really need a buff either.

heh i still use it quite often though their are many times i would give my other titan for make ice to have a range of 2.

One problem, and I know our titan kicks ass.

The ice aura it produces at the end of the turn trumps impeding snow. Ive talked to Sok about it at large, but I really think it should be fixed.

Make it like ice veil.

Other than that, no other critiques.

I suggested all those in Beta. It's true the Glacial Titan is probably the most powerful of all the Titans, but ST needed it honestly.

Still, I think simply making the Ice Block 2x2 would be such a small buff that would simply make the ability occasionally worth using, without making the Titan significantly more powerful in any way.

Hehe, yeah, the reason you want a ranged Ice Block is for Knockback/Gale Force combos. Which is what I first thought of also, I think that would be nearing the overpowered mark on the Titan though, anyone got in melee range, he'd just drop a block behind them, knockback for around 15-20 damage, and combo off of Gale Force for another 21 damage.

Would be great, but probably pushing it. ;)

A 2x2 Ice Block would at least give him a little personal wall to stop a melee champ for a turn, or at least limit him to just one attack, I think that's worth the health trade off. It would also occasionally allow for the Titan to get an extra square or two of reach for contesting fonts and such.

I don't think either of those possibilities are asking too much.

Stacking terrain have always be an issue and will be kept that way.

Still all for making terrain stay and not stacking. One tile, one terrain type.

Oh and Glacial Titan need no love. It's already the icing on the cake (it's late, lol)

Ok fine, so leave it in its sucky state then. Don't mess with my Titan. I don't want some buff to a marginal ability like Make Ice that puts the Titan over the top, where he gets nerfed on his actual useful abilities later. ;)

When I saw the glacial titan thread title I ONLY could have assumed it would be a nerf thread.

My faith in humanity dropped another peg when it turned out to be a buff thread.

yep, spawns an iceblock wit 20hp. its only good use is in campaign cause the enemy is distracted by it
