View Full Version : Bleeding the bloodless?

I just noticed the Bloodletters "bleed" ability working on Xulos on the FW campaign.

Is this on purpose? I mean, champions that are "bloodless" should not generate blood orbs when struck by the bloodletter, right?

It was just a name for the purpose of preventing Sacrifice wonkiness with Xulos - you could post it to suggestions or bugs, but honestly I don't think it's really a big deal.

Bloodless prevents rend. So imo it should also prevent bleed/blood orbs from being dropped.

However, I wouldn't be overly surprised if they never change it either since it's a new ability (Bleed/blood orbs) being mitigated by an old one (Bloodless).

This is true, and it totally doesn't make sense. I don't think it's a big deal either, but it might not be a bad idea.

I support this change and I play UD.

Buff Bloodless(slightly) with Immunity - Bleeding.

Sounds ok. Just remember though that this is the game where the word Destroy can mean so many things. Wording isn't really Pox strong side.

bloodless is only used to prevent sacrificing a unit for example xulos so you cant use his dark favor and elsari siren so you cant use its body jumper. now back to topic i tihnk bloodless should prevent blood orbs.

I agree as well.

I think its ridiculous that Octopi doesn't allow older runes abilities to counter newer abilities. Newer shouldn't mean better.

I really couldn't care if they do or not, I would find it odd if they change just this and not other odd things.

How do we know the Bloodletter doesn't spurt some of his own blood out through his claws as a sort of acid?

It would explain the whole haha you got blood on you take 8 damage thing. :)

makes sense, although it doesn't really matter. Bloodletter doesn't need the nerf but with such a rare ability it wouldn't be very noticeable.

unstoppable chars can still become lumbering and prisoned by ST. It's fine as is. Bloodless is a band aid (a decent one since you're immune to chill and rend) against sacrifice.

I'm UD, I use Bloodletter in my BG, and I'm alright with this.

I mean hell, I'm going to lose anyways.
