So lately I've been doing pretty well as far as guessing when to go for the rush and when not to. I think it's pretty obvious that we are strong early game due to low cost champs and high nora production. I truly think that 90% of my win/losses is in my decision on when to push. I don't think I've been a high ranked player with playing defense. With titans and other factions having higher cost champs (excluding Talinos's super hero champ bg) ours are usually lower.
Does anyone play a defensive game with FS? Try and out last the champ count of the opponent? Is this viable only with higher nora champs, who are more likely to 1 round other champs and survive themselves?
I was just wondering if I should keep trying to perfect the 1 round font grab offense or try and learn the ways of defense with the firk/frogs...

To each, his own.
Do what you think works best for you, play what feels right.

Is it possible? Yes.
Is it very very difficult? Yep.

It's best of course depending on the faction your going up against.
and by the by, Talinos , from what I'v seen at least, doesnt play defensive.

ive actually never seen him play, I was just referring to how often his champ builds are 10-20 above what people consider the "norm".
FS is an offensive faction, i was just curious if someone had found some play style to throw a change up at someone... something like... sitting back with 1 or 2 champs out.. gaining 300 nora... cranking 4 champs out and then nora drain or something...
It is hard to play defensive for us, because we just don't have anything to build up to and put our opponent on a clock.
Where FW has global damage, inspire, summons, or IS has buffs/phalanx, we've only really got surge.

roger that.
Actually, I should revise what I said earlier - if you built an aquatic deck with generators and f. piranhids, over time, you could build to a point whereby your opponent can't really attack without losing units to fish/drown and your piranhids 1 round anything.
Takes a while though :P
