Okay, so the deck is coming along nicely, I think. Adding in Poison Elementals and Bone Elementals and Carrion Colossus make moga much more manageable. I'm still not totally convinced about the spell line-up.

As usual, feedback would be very much appreciated.

Champs:

Bone Elemental (Assault is very nice. I can't imagine running this deck without it now)
Carrion Colossus (switched out the dragon for the seldom-used titan. Why you ask? Well, the dragon basically never got deployed, so it was kind of a dead spot. The Titan is extremely good against moga, which has been my worst matchup by far. But mostly because I think the titan is hilarious and love using him.)
Eternal Lich x2
Executioner (I am seriously considering dropping this guy in favor of another Bone Elemental.)
Mindshredders x2
Magnetic Anurans x2
Massive Anuran
Poison Elemental x2 (Woah! These guys are fantastic!)
Ravenwraith
Witch x2

Spells:

Backfire
Loot
Marshsong x2
Mobi
Poison Fumes
Weaken (This spell turns out to be an absolute MVP in this deck. I haven't felt the need to add a second one since the cooldown is so low)

Relics:

Poison Trap
Soulsphere

Equips:

Blight Ring
Darkmarsh Helm (I am testing it out. In theory, stealth pingers and witches sounds crazy. In practice, I haven't found a situation where it is useful)
Elsari Shackles x2
Mindshanks x2

I love the idea, but every time I go to spec one of your games you're playing FF FW again :(

Anyone else running this?

Heh - I got a special request today to play a couple FF games. I'll be back at this deck later today and tomorrow.

It is, I should note, a work in progress. I really want to incorporate a stealth theme. There's so much potential with stealth witches, pingers and magnetics. Not to mention being able to use Black Ops and Nora Drain!

You shouldn't need black ops for nora drains :P

If at all possible you should probably try and work in two Poison Elementals and Bone Elementals - these would deal with the horde decks you're having issues with. I'd get a 2nd WW in there too :P

You really don't need fish or the associated runes and those slots open up another backfire, a nora drain and the PEs. The FW half is really tight as-is, but you should try find room for Bone Eles and Essence Drains - I think they'd be really very helpful.

In terms of card draw, you do have other options - depending on the slots available on the FS side, you could run Sensorates and Prophets for scry 2, and there's always Tome+Scry, which is also a great module.

I'd definitely cut:
Ravenwraith
FW Dragon
Poison Fumes
Monsoon
Soak
Fish
Loot
Bog Trap
Spirit Stone

I'd consider cutting the execs too for Boners. If you make those changes you can get another WW in and another shackles/c-blade or tome. Pity about the EDs, but I can't really see how we can make them fit.

Gives you a lot of FS runes to play with; a 2nd backfire, a nora drain, 2x PE leaves 3 slots to play around with. Of the cards above, I'd probably only really think about keeping the fumes, but you'll already have a lot of poison clouds - maybe scry units?

kthx.

Good points kthx. I actually do have 2 heralds in there.

And you're right about FF. I think I've only used it a couple of times.

One champ I'm considering (but would need to craft or trade) is the FS diplomat. Given the nature of my champs, I don't exactly fear truces. Plus, majestic would be really nice.

soulreave and corrode are both worth looking into, poison eles+massive anurans.

i'm not sure about the fish, actually. this strikes me as a very controlling deck, not as combat oriented persay. blight ring mebbe.

just my thoughts.

i've found b trap useful, fumes is kinda overkill.

Netherwraith could be really interesting too - more AP denial and hex.

kthx.

i dont see the point in the angels if the opponent isn't going to be attacking... also you need more equip. i suggest 2 blight rings or cursed blades.

Thanks for the feedback guys! I've changed things around quite a bit and its starting to flow and perform better.

I'm beginning to think a player with better skills than mine could take this to the top.

Any feedback you have on the current deck would be much appreciated.

I watched you play this against KF. Seems like that faction counters this deck. Also, positioning the lockdown appears to be the hardest part. And, of course, the whole thing runs on having two copies of the best/hardest to get heralds. Finally, do you find you're limited in how you can use the Anuran? Because careless leaps may move enemies out of lock range.

KF has a couple of things that make it a hard (but not impossible) matchup. Extra speed means it is harder to get that ap denied. Disarm on Fiorn is always a problem (but he's a problem no matter what). Herbal Antidote messes up the poison and disease and charms and weakens. Plus, Vortex can disrupt the lock even once achieved.

And yes, this deck requires a lot of thinking and positioning. If you don't lock someone down, then you're going to get beaten to a pulp.

But for me, that's the fun of the deck.

Made more changes to my deck based on play experience and feedback.

I now have answers against moga, which is nice. It still isn't a great matchup, but at least it isn't the autolose situation it used to be.
