2*Nefari Siphon 58 nora, 9 speed, Flame Siphon 2, Vun: Frost

2*Firemaw

2*Magma Bunny 57 nora, 9 speed, Replicate, +6HP

2*Rapid Assualt

2*Sacrifice

2*Retribution

1*Scorch the Earth

The Theory

The spirit singers come into play, nora sheilding either a rune that will take combat damage or a nefari siphon target. They use ressurect + sacrifice/retribution to be able to be played continously, and use nora sheild often - possibly every round. The Redcap twins will become more powerful each time the spirit singers die, and make good targets of nora sheild and Grimlics Mirror. Magma bunnies come into play later, which keep being healed by the spirit singers + elven statue, and create a larger nora engine with use of combined effort. Firemaw + Rapid Assualt fends of early attacks & firemaw + retribution removes nora generation counters (hopefully :P), Fiery Death heals the magma bunnies.

Win Condition

1) Shrine Assualt - Pretty Self Explanatory

2) Raze - I haven't fully concived the idea but between Grimlic's Mirror, Hurry, Ressurect, Sacrifice, Retribution, Recall and Rapid assualt there should be some way of spamming Redcaps enough to kill a shrine/avatar.

Last Thoughts

I'm not sure if this qualifies as a trick deck or not; there is no "lock" mechanic in it, but it's certainly far from the normal way of playing. It's also all in theory and construction, so i would really appreciate it for all feedback. It would be great if someone was intrested enough to actually try this, because i don't have the runes. Also cheers to Kthx for inspiration but the replicate + combined effort idea (if he doesn't mind...) Thanks in advance :D

I would, but i don't have the runes. That is why it's all theory.

Hmmm very interesting... I would like to see it in action. The nora shield and siphon is pretty epic.

What!? How would that not work? It's not in the text, and it doesn't seem like something that would be that way because of coding, ect.


Could someone test, perhaps?

(It's not that i don't believe you - but when did you discover this, and how? I don't want to let the idea od this BG fail without being sure about whether it works or not)

The main issue I can see with this is that it's so AP intensive for the Singers. Your setup time, with expensive, non-combat champions is tough as is. The fact that it takes something like 4-5 turns to run through the cycle might be a deck breaker. You can Invigorate but that just adds another non-combat champ.

It would be worth testing this, purely because the change to Team/Rider has removed the dissynergy with sacrifice/retribution.

That said, I suspect that this is a little turn intensive; unfortunately, unlike the Almsgiver combo from ages past, the Singer requires AP to make use of nora shield.

The other issues are getting hurry/recall to support so many different angles, and really, there isn't the need for 3 different nora engines in the one build - the magma bunny engine comes online pretty quickly and is more than enough to power hurry/recall (especially since the engine expands over time).

I do like the magma bunnies as a win-condition here, although I suspect you'll be better off just cycling raze units with vortex/rapid assault. You'll definitely want Seed of Potential in there to hold your fonts.
