In general, you want to run down and take the lower font with your first deployed champ. Don't worry about trying to hold it. Run that champ back up to your shrine. The AI has a very hard time realizing a need for font captures (maybe it has something to do with unlimited nora), and once you capture the font, as long as you stay away from it, you should hold it the whole match unless you are just unlucky and one of the bot's units wanders into the font zone.
Defend your shrine area from rushes from the north. As long as you keep units on the upper side of your shrine, the bot's units will usually circle around north, even if deployed at the bottom part of their shrine.
Early, play ranged units with a damage type other than frost or physical. The Ice Golem will be one of the first units at your shrine, and he explodes in a powerful death nova when defeated. Keep your distance from it, and wear it down until it is gone. Handling that Golem will set the tone for the rest of the match. If you handle it well, you should be okay from there easily. If you get a bad draw, or take a lot of time taking it down, you will probably get swarmed under midway through.
A unit with Detection might be useful. There are a couple of units midway through with hidden: arctic. They can get a bit annoying.
If you have nora, use it. Nora Freeze will be annoying and seems to come at the most inopportune times for you. It is better to have a unit on the board for three turns than try to save up for that titan or spell combo only to have your nora frozen, stalling your plans and causing you to cast what you can to save yourself.
Fight defensively. Let them come to you. Don't try to rush across the board or capture their font. If there is a ranged unit penging you from the shrine area up north, withdraw a bit back to your shrine. That should pull the ranged units in range of your own shooters.
Because of the many Frostbites and such, it is suggested that another Savage Tundra battle group be used. Since most of them have Arctic, they won't be affected. Not only that, but there's already a ice shard on the board, meaning you've already got a 25% Frost damage bonus. Playing another shard will get you to 50%, which usually helps you more than it helps the bot. Playing other relics is not recommended, because of the wails. Just remember that if you do play ST, there will be a few units (Ice Golem, Frost Giant, Tundra Yeti, Jakai Elder, etc) with immunity to frost or ice eater. It is important to include other damage types in your build other than just frost damage.
Failing that, I made a KF/FS deck that can handle it pretty easily. Lots of curing magic (Forest Dragons and Boghopper Shamans, mainly) with a Mandrake. Put Mandrake down, keep her cured through the Frostbites, and let her begin eating the enemy after a few rounds of their spells. (This is a pretty general strategy for winning any of the Trials campaigns, I think.)
Underdepths will probably have the hardest time beating it. Most of their units have frost vulnerability on regular builds, so unless you want to reset your group with a lot of tokens, the Frostbites will eat you alive. Additionally, the fire vulnerability present on most Tundra champs in regular builds aren't present on the bot's units. So, it is akin to fighting an uphill battle.

It is possible to do it with UD though, and I've done it before. IS was harder though, and it took me loads more tries then the single try I needed for ST on legendary.
Correct, fight defensively, but don't stay too defensive if you don't have to. I managed to pull up to the north font a bit late in the game, when the bosses would start to spawn, to fight them there.

10/10 SL/ST
10 speed Draksar Spellswallowers (take care with the Snow Blind), Arctic (for icewalking at 11spd, immunity chill), Taint (regen3), Yetihide capes (use their amps against them, frost immunity)
Ice golems are great tanks, arctic turtles are cheap blockers as well.

Agreed, SL should have an easy time with it as well. Regen should easily take care of the multitude of Frostbites. Taint those puppies up!

Only problem is FF SL is expensive and with nora freeze, SL can't last long. so i guess SL/something is doable!

I won with IS a couple times or more. Not that hard. Just take the font, use your spells vs the first champs, as strip armor helps a lot vs the Ice golem deployed at the beginning. I usually deployed Nightwatch on the first turn or two if available, cause the stun helped me to keep my champs without being hit, along with hammer strike. At the start just sit in front of the shrine and wait for the foes... then, when you have enough forces move to the font. I used earthquake when going to contest, to avoid Delegate and others to do 2 attacks. That's all. Sri

Sl really isn't expensive at all if you playem right XD quite a few units i have below 64 nora (6 of my 12 in my BG) none breaking 100. Seems cheap enough nora wise to me ;D

you might want to try thaw. its a wide range that negates their bonus from arctic terraign and deals a nice bit of dmg. it also makes sand terraign now for some reason so you might wanna play some sand stalkers from SL if you like.
