For the PDC, just wondering, what is the general plan for helping out the faction? Do you guys foresee changing/improving existing runes, or is the idea to let the changes from Nora Surge do the improving? My only concern with the latter is, unless ST's offerings in the expansion are drastically better than everyone else's, I don't see that really helping out our competitiveness any, at least not any more than it'll help everyone else's.

So what's your plan of attack? Do you plan on pushing for changes before Nora Surge goes live? After? I'm curious as to how this is going to work.

Due to the large number of variables associated with releasing an expansion, we are going to hold off on concrete changes to ST until after the expansion has been released.

Regardless, discussions are on-going for potential changes to existing runes and mechanics, yes.

So no changes to current champs on expansion release?

How about any adjustments to abilities that some of our champs happen to have on expansion release?

Sok, I'm really concerned that if we don't get a fairly decent boost -past- what other factions are getting, it won't really matter if we're looked at. Like pointed out above, everyone else is also getting improvements. This will more or less leave us in exactly the same position.

Having fewer and fewer players left who are loyal to ST, and Octpi seeing less and and less reason to improve us. I hate to think this way, but I honestly think the best way for you to push improvements, is to aim over the mark.

Octpi traditionally creates runes and then nerfs them. They rarely improve them compared to the nerfing. We stand a far far better chance of entering the playing field as a decent faction if they over-buff us first. Rather then get buffed into where we should be, and then everyone rants and complains that we've gained too much power and then we're put right back in the same place.

They rarely improve them compared to the nerfing.

While this may be true for expansion runes (primarily because they do not realize the power of certain things until it is demonstrated by the players), I'd actually say the game's overall power level has increased, champs specifically are significantly more nora efficient than they used to be, and with on-going ability reviews it will likely continue to be so.

Anyway, I hear you all, I am doing what I can, I promise!

No changes to existing abilities are coming with the expansion that I know of, but Octopi has surprised me before.

Also, very few of the abilities, offhand, I'd say maybe 6 out of 30 or so abilities on our new champs are replicated on existing champs, and that includes Arctic.

After seeing the Dune Walker preview today, I kinda got the feeling that the faction emphasis on terrain control is moving away from ST. So is it in the books for ST to move away from terrain control as a faction theme? Or will we see some champ support similar to the Dune Walker?
