View Full Version : CAP needs SL NOW!

The SL section of the CAP guild forum is empty. We don't have a single member playing SL regularly, even in 10/10 - it is probably the most under-represented faction in the guild (except maybe IS). I'm going to have to dust off my Draksar - but come on, if we're going to be a true multi-national, multi-factional guild we need more players repping SL.....

You don't think all the other factions have guilds too? Either Draksar Clan is a MASSIVE guild, or SL players are really opposed to multi-factionalism.

Also, cidbahamut and DirkOfPerk - we are as entitled to recruit here as any other guild, you guys don't have a monopoly.

haha, you dont get it. its not that we are denying you anything. its just that most SL players will go to Draksar Clan before they go to another guild. We are a LONG established guild that helps new players train and build their collection. SO most become friends with the guild when they are provies.

Me too when i was part of the guild I had some fun times....I forget the times with those Draksars..

Hey, I've got nothing against the established faction guilds and if someone wants to specifically play FF then they are the way to go - but there must be some players who have SL as just part of their game and we need some of them if we are to be a true multi-factionalist guild. We could try and get some of our current members to start playing SL, but people are still resistant to the idea of putting aside their favourite factions, even temporarally......

CAP is looking for people who don't just play one faction for the most part. If I meet a player who only plays one faction I will recommend them to one of the major guilds for that faction, but plenty of players are like myself (I have multiple decks for every faction and a whole bunch of 10/10s) have absolutely no ties to any one faction and like to play everything. Also with no guild forum currently posting in the individual faction forums is a perfectly good place to recruit.

(also I was in the top 20 Dow pointwise for SL for a very long time and never once considered joining Clan Draksar, so not all SL players go to you heh)

I agree with this. There's nothing wrong with him trying to recruit SL players here. Most of the active SL posters probably are drak clan memebers though, so pickins are probably pretty slim. But still there's no reason why he should get harrassed for trying to recruit SL players in the SL forums.

It sounds like you're blaming us for the section of your forum being empty. My response is "how is that our problem?" -- feel free to ask players to join, but it's our right to stick with draksar clan or whatever other guild we are in.

Honestly, it's never been our intention to step on anyone's toes - we aren't trying to take members from other guilds, in fact we are mostly targeting new players for recruitment. We're not in this to be the top ranked guild, just to make Pox a better game for everyone. We want to work with the established guilds, not against them and try to make Poxnora the best it can be.....

Why, if it isn't CAP's very own stalker! Don't hold back, tell us how you really feel.

It's odd, if no-one wants to join our guild how in a month have we recruited nearly as many members as your guild? As for having no SL players, that is simply not true - Kasiski got to no.3 playing FF SL and I myself finished second only to Javazill in the SL diplomat contest. We just have a lot more KF and FW players than anything else and are trying to redress the balance.

I agree with you about spammers, though. Stop spamming our threads.....

Wow, everyones flaming about how CAP is trying to steal Draksar Clans members or how Draksar Clan are depriving CAP of members, lets just take a step back. CAP have every right to post here and Draksar Clan have every right to not join but theres no need to start fighting about it.
