Dead in the Water Tournament.

Rules:
Circus BGs (no bonuses)
10 champs, 10 equipments
No doubles on equipment, equipment CANNOT be used on opponent(cursed blade, wrath helms etc)

FS Map Only
No more than 3 FS Champs

No exos, LEs or PEs NO CLAYFORMS

5 reveals per turn, DoW Nora stats 1 minute rounds.


Each Champion must be equipped before another champion can be deployed.

RUNES CAN BE FROM ANY FACTION YOU LIKE, TO INCLUDE WRATH FACTIONS.
PRIZE(S) WILL BE DETERMINED AT A LATER DATE.....
PLEASE MESSAGE ME WITH YOUR ENTRY AND I WILL ADD YOUR NAME TO THE ROSTER.

Prizes.

First Prize will be awarded a $25 Target Gift card.

Second Prize will be awarded choice of new exclusive rune.

Third Prize will be awarded a $10 Target Gift Card.

Tournament will be single elimination. If a player cannot make the match for the next round, the player beaten by the absent player will take the absent player's place. if there is an absent player for the first round then there will be one bye for that player's opponent. If there are 2 absent players then their opponents will be matched up.

Err what happens if someone is able to shatter another person's equipment?

If someone has shatter, then by all means run a champ with it. But the rules will still apply.

If a champ had been equipped before then another champ can still be deployed even if the equip was shattered or disarmed.

Is it ok for summoned units or replicated/swarmed units not to be equipped before bringing another champ out?

Also I guess unequipable champs cant really be used (clay form, gatekeeper, siege engine). Or maybe if they were your last draw...but probably best just not to play them.

Looking forward to this so hopefully we get the few more people in.

yea I would suggest unequip units not be played lol, though not against the rules just kinda silly.

Swarm and replicate are fine, only deployed champ HAS to be equipped to be played.

it CAN be equipped again i think, just that it doesn't HAVE to be equipped again for another champ to be deployed.

as for stealth champ, i guess it would have to be integrity.. that's a good question.

FS equip doesn't count towards the limit, the limit is for FS champions.

the champ should be able to move/contest font etc, but not attack another champ until equipped. no additional champions can be deployed till the last champ is equipped. I think unequipped champs can be attacked but cannot retaliate. Though this leads to another question, can an unequipped champ activate 'Block', 'Riposte' and 'Dodge'? how about Damaging aura? and Damage Shield?

I would asssume from the rules that a champion that has not yet been equipped can do ANYTHING as long as it is equipped before another champion is deployed.

With the stealthed issue it does actually show up in the log when you/your opponent equips the champ.

I agree with lanslord on the other two issues.

Also, I managed to beat Scrampy a day ago :)

(I think he even broke the rules by not equipping his Apprentice Mage ;))

Yup as expected He whipped me good nice rush by him and My lack of runes/cp for my bg idea proved to kill me in the end, quick game

Fun idea nevertheless was fun to participate if only for one round
