FIRK Guild Discussion Thread

[Talinos]

The FIRK guild is a multi-factional guild (although Forglar Swamp is emphasized in the name) that accepts members of all ranks. Please talk to one of the guild officers so we can get a feel for who you are before applying, random applications will be denied. We plan to be active in guild-wars (currently Sept. 21 vs. Team Purple), guild tournaments (a FIRK exclusive tournament is planned for early November), and other guild activities. This guild is also a good place to get tips and strategies from any of our several of our top-200 members.

That said, this thread is going to serve as a place for us to get to know one another both within poxnora and outside if you want to share that information.

I'll start:

Within PoxNora I play FS, IS, and ST pretty regularly, and also dabble in all of the other factions except SP (FS's mortal enemy). I also run the oldest and one of the largest player stores, which is somewhat of a time commitment and, at times, can feel like a part-time job. Otherwise I'm on probably more than I should be and you can probably find me for a friendly game in Anything Goes on most week nights (although usually not on weekends).

Outside of Pox I'm 20 and currently attend the University of Michigan. I run varsity track which takes up a hell of a lot of time during my week, my focus being on the mile and the 800 for those of you who run. I'm a pretty avid football fan (part of the reason why I decided to come to Michigan) but unfortunately my college team and my NFL team (49ers) are both horrendous this year, so I'm looking at two miserable seasons to follow for the next couple of months.

a recent grad from Rhodes College, and now I work in politics as a campaign manager. Was a baseball player, womanizer, and a boozer. Now im in real life, so dont do that stuff so much anymore.

I pox at night when i get a chance, and I sift through the forums durring the day when I need break. Been poxing for about a year and a half and I must say runes helps, but practice makes you awesome.

Wow guys, congrats. I cant wait till I get back "in town" and have a comp from which I can PLAY pox. Great job!

That said, I'll officially introduce myself since I'm awake and have little to do (my girlfriend is hogging the futon (check my spelling) that we're crashing on...

I've been a somewhat avid poxxer for about a year, perhaps more. I used to play protectorate, but have traded so that I have wrath now (although I have great runes, I rarely know how to use 'em best)

Personally, I'm a 25 year old with a BA in Psychology. I currently live in Buffalo, NY and work as a "Residential Site Manager" at a 5-bed residence for adults with autism. Although my work is very intense, and I'm on call 24-7 (which really cuts into Pox time), I love it and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in seeing some eye-opening things.

im 15 years old and currently doing my second year of GCSE's, i live in england in county hertfordshire near london im taking in total 12 G CCSE's ( its gona be a hard year) and have no part time job as such at the moment.

Umm to add to that im an avid rugby player, and to those of u english people i support the team saracens, also i support a football team ( known as soccer to you americans ) called Manchester United, COME ON U REDS!!!!!. Also love to play Xbox 360 with my friend online sometimes. =)

well thats about it for now if u wana know more just pm me lol im a very active player as i have not much to do after my coursework and HWK.

Hey folks new to the guild thought id introduce myself

In game i play Mainly SP or SP/IS but i dabble in SL IS and UD decks to

Outside of pox im 29 years old and live in the north of Sweden in a little miningtown called Gällivare i have 2 kids and a wife. i play Warhammer Online when i have time . I also play collectible card games Vampire the eternal struggle mostly. I play some figuregames to pretty much anything GW makes. I work at a research lab with metallurgy for a company named LKAB.

And yes i dont sleep much about 5 hours a night have to do =P

An SPer? nice. A good player to watch for a sp/is hybrid is tinydragon. He's deck is mean. he goes relocate chasm guy, make hole, and knock back for insta killage. KILL THE TRANSPORTER (imo).

I rock sp too. The faction's great. flying, cheap, and fast.

I use that to combined with harbie dking clayform and for fun i use knockback with cycbelt to =P
