This will probably be a series of questions I put in here as i go forward with this campaign so other people can use it for this too, I haven't seen a similar thread anywhere and wasn't sure if this is the place for it, or training grounds thread.
Okay, sitrep: Was winning stage 2 when the demon went possessed. That's fine until it becomes unpossessed and starts slamming friendlies and there is no opportunity to attack it when it's your turn as it becomes possessed again!
The elf-helper avatar 'sashea' says something like: "Without those Nefari Elves, this demon has gone wild." What does that mean? Is she talking about the Nefari Reapers? I guess that is when the demon went crazy, when i killed off the last reaper, not sure....
What to do:
a) get my own reaper for my set to control the bugger? That doesn't seem right...
b) attack the demon before i kill the last reaper so it stays an enemy on my turn?
c) Or just hold a bunch of hammerstrikes and other spells i can cast on friendlies and hope for the best.
Comment: this set up is a game-y gimmick --- to not let you attack the demon, when it is possessed and friendly, then it goes on a tear on the enemy turn with a sure kill on any friendly rune unit. Annoying, especially since i spent a lot of time trying to win the game until this gimmick shows up at the end of the game and the demon, with 28 activation points, runs after an avatar that got too close to it's huge attack radius, and i lose the game!!
So, if anyone can help me past this game-y feature, I would appreciate it! Thanks.
