ST Guild

The ST guild is SZS right? I know I stumbled on their forums once. I think I have decided that I am a dedicated ST player and I really need some training help and some build help. Even in MTG, I was a pretty good player, but a craptastic deck builder. I know I could use these forums, but I was wondering if the SZS forum was where the cool people hung out.

P.S.- Normally I would search for this kind of thing, but the way this forum is set up, post whoring is encouraged and searching discouraged. Another fine Octopi head-scratcher.

The Firk guild is your only hope! Where else can you get tips from the one and only Talinos himself????

Joking aside though, ST players are generally pretty spread out from what I've seen. There is no "Defenders of Stronghold" equivalent for ST as far as I can tell.

That was my general feeling when I found the SZS board. Looked very quiet. And I know a lot of the hardcore ST'ers have moved on. ST seems like a faction made more for the mid to long game and more for the defensive player, which is perfect for me. The main problem I seem to have is that it requires precise play and finely honed bgs. I'll post my bg later. I feel like I have a great base, but I've got some glaring issues that I don't know how to solve.

That being said, I'm more happy floating around the 4-figure rankings and my goal is to be competitive in the 1-2k ranks so I'm not overly ambitious. I would also like to preserve and increase my ST faciton points, which currently stand at 30. I did pretty well with my FF ST bg but it was boring frost amp and I broke it down for my new bg. I'm counting on that not being a mistake as I am out of silver tokens.

SZS is still decently active. Besides, we have goldmonkee.

While we(SZS) are a bit quiet, we do have a good number of long time ST players. But ST as a whole is a rather quiet faction. I'm not even sure if there is another guild that focuses on ST in particular.

i tend to get to chat to a few SZS players on guild forum in the game tho... but yea if you want a dedicated guild to ST then i think SZS is the answer... there are a large number of high ranking ST players in SZS tho.

Yeah, forgot about the guild chat. I normally switch it to log only as people trying to chat annoy me, or they're the standard anti-st flames. Pretty sure SZS is it as well. And it's not so much that I really care about being in the guild, as everyone in this forum is helpful enough, but I figure if ST is pretty much what I play, then might as well!
