Guess the general feel of what each rune does the night before we find out. Those in the know should keep out. :)
----------------------------
Champs
Glacial Titan-2x2 unit that creates a lot of ice/snow and is an effective roadblock
Icecliff Patrol- anti air unit
Jakei Disciple- teleporting or relocating support unit
Lonx Snowguard- Unit that gets a big stat buff while on snow, attacker
Spells
Retrieve- Global when your next champ dies, it's returned to the rune dock with a cooldown of 0
Relics
Halberd of J`thir- Relic with Majestic 4
Equipment
Visor of Iceguard- (it's a hat?) Grants magic resist two and trail snow.

My guess is they are gonna nerf terrain even more sigh(there was no reason for any terrain nerf in the first place).
PS. I think Retrieve will be like a reanimate, on a already dead champ(on cd=putting it into play), probally costing 80 nora, but it would still be useful.

Glacial Titan reminds me of that pic goldmonkee had of that insect carrying the huge ice block. Say 70 nora ice eater, amphibious 2x2, 16 dmg, 9 spd lumbering out of snow or water. Summon ice block i heard from somewhere would be cool on this guy.
Icecliff Patrol- Most likely that polar bear with that boomerang ability.
Jakei Disciple- unit I'd say with mass heal 3 upgradable. Magic and physical attack types.
Lonx Snowguard- I'll one up ya frogshine ;) Unit that gives a big stat buff to ALL units on snow, attacker.
Spells
Retrieve- global capturing of all nora globes.
Relics
Halberd of J`thir- Relic with 4 adjacent snow spots giving all units in range 4, execute, and a frost melee attack at 80% dmg.
Equipment
Visor of Iceguard- unit gains ability like phase shift, but where user is immune to all but frost attacks for that round.

I like Omin's version of Retrieve better. Being able to suck up all the globes on the field at once would be nice. I doubt the cost would be high either.
I was hoping Retrieve would be more along the lines of returning your champ to the pool with a cooldown of like 2, along with whatever equips it had on it as well, also at 2. Cost would be about 50-60 I imagine.

The Icecliff Patrol we know from our previous encounter with him in the last beta (or thereabouts) to be our Bearorang, with the Boomerang ability, which is sort of a ranged Sapping blow. Could combo well with Arctic Garu, actually.
Glacial Titan is our "Titan" rune, with every faction recieving one. Not sure what's special about them yet though, but he's going to be very powerful and very expensive if the dropped hints are any indication.
Retrieve as a global nora globe retriever sounds interesting...but would be virtually useless. You simply can't get enough nora that way to even offset whatever the cost of the spell is. I'm more in favor of a Retreat style spell - yanking a champion off the front lines and bringing it back to our font. Sort of a "friendly Vortex".
Lonx Snowguard screams "Snow Rune". I'd love to have this guy be a defensive rune that gains serious bonuses on snow to make advancing over the white stuff a scary proposition. Sort of like an aquatic rune, but with arctic related bonuses.
Jakei Disciple sounds like it'll be a healer, flavored towards the tundra. I'm actually most interested in this champ.
Halberd of J'thir is our altar. Every faction is getting one. I'm betting it will provide either a global buff or an AoE buff around it - hoping for the AoE. +2 damage to all units in an AoE 3 would be great. Would instantly fix our complaints of low damage.
Iceguard Visor is our helmet. Every faction is getting one of these, too. I'm realllly not sure on this one though, since we have so many defensive equips already.

I think for the Halberd, if it was a global bonus, I would hope it gives Arctic to ALL champs of the ST faction. That would make so many of them way more useful in FF with terrain control. I'd say give them Arctic globally and then the +2 damage with AOE 3 on it. That way you can use it in either circumstance.

While I know we're not supposed to reveal any info about the beta, I would just like to say that I guessed 100% right on one of the runes. Not just close, but EXACTLY.
Score one for me!

I'm hoping that it's the Snowguard but am pretty sure it's not. I'm thinking it's the Halberd but hoping it's not. Man, that pretty much sums up my overall pox outlook actually.
