Been watching Akame ga Kill! And it's been pretty decent. The action is pretty neat with awesome sequences but the filler is pretty heavy so there are a few episodes entirely of "character development".
I recommend every anime there is, ever. Thank you for reading this, because anime is great and not a cartoon. THEY HAVE PLOTS, EVERYTHING ECCHI HAS A PLOT. PLOTS PLOTS AND PLOTS.
If you can get past the first quarter and the occasional filler episode it is quite good and season two has been amazing.
Rurouni Kenshin, Ghost in the Shell, Samurai Champloo I've not seen anything that even comes close to those. Mostly teeniebopper emo crap these days.
I don't think you understand. Girls und panzer has tanks. and kill la kill has clothes what else does it have you ask baskit? well...
You do realize that baskitcase's avatar is not him? this isn't the first half of the first season of SAO.
I'm 35. The ones I listed I watched in my 20s. I'll try anything but mostly its all crap from my perspective. I have sons now that are 8 and 10, they like stuff like Avatar and Star Wars but they aren't much for reading subtitles yet and I think the dubs are all terrible. You miss so much when you don't hear it in Japanese, even if you don't understand the language.
If by clean you mean easy, straightforward plots, then no. The first four are, at core, psychological thrillers and the latter is an occult detective but is way more relaxing than the others. For something more action-packed, try Darker than Black and Psycho-Pass.
