I've said this a million times. Here's one more. Please add more payment methods. Credit card & Paypal ONLY just doesn't cut it anymore, this isn't 2006. Mobile and prepaid cards aren't really an option for you guys as of now, sure, but Paysafe sure is. tl;dr Please make a deal with Paysafe so I can give you my money, thx.
We want to look into as many payment options as possible. With that said, we would like to hear more suggestions. Lets make this the official thread regarding new payment options. Note: These are just suggestions we may or may not be able to implement them given many unknown factors. These are some previous mentioned suggestions:
I know for a fact that the majority of the League of Legends community in Eastern Europe (big numbers here) used Paysafe for most of their purchases.
Those are all of the ones that I am familiar with, obviously from the other publisher that I am involved with =P. By the way, SOE does allow you to use Paysafe iirc.
What about Bitcoin? I am a bitcoiner and i would love to spend bitcoins on this game. I understand if this isnot a priority, but some game companies are accepting bitcoins as payment method and it is easy to add in a website by services like bitpay Another good think for the developers is that bitcoin payments arent reversible, so once the customer pay, he cannot cancel the payment.
I can't even get to that screen right now cause my SOE account won't open my balance, but I am fairly sure I've been going through the PoxNora website > add SC > payment options once per month for many years, and the only options were credit card and PayPal. So either 1), I'm blind, 2) I'm ********, 3) it's new or 4) it was only available through the "SOE > Add funds" way and not the PoxNora one.
Accepting mobile phone payments would be very good, Due to the high commission they charge it'd have to cost slightly more to be worth adding, but I know that i've paid extra to pay by phone before on other games, including League of Legends.
I was just able to access my wallet, and I can confirm it's new, they probly added that option within February. Let's hope DOGs follow this example
I can't really say, there isn't much precedent for it but from my experience, I don't see a reason why not.
No rush or anything, but I have 200 EU next to my keyboard, and no Paysafe option to spend them through. Tried throwing them at the screen a few times, didn't work.
