How to restart an infinite thread

Accidentally changed the language on one of my games to Dutch. Literally the first thing that popped into my head was " Dammit @Geressen " Not entirely sure why....

 

sub concious mind controll is subtle and slow acting.

 

I spent an embarrassingly long time clicking on different selections trying to find the language option before I figured out I could just Google the Dutch word for language, then play "I Spy: Dutch Edition" to find the word. Took about 20 seconds after that.

When all else fails. Google...

Is Vikings any good?

 

yes. takes some liberties with the actuall history. but it's good.

 

How many liberties? Do they bring up the Ulfberht? Is it a Period/Drama, or a Drama/Documentary?

 

certainly no documentary. anyways first season has the vikings with no knowledge of any lands to the west like england. raid of lindesfarne ( should have happened before ragnar was born) there are several mystical elements included and some things are just inacurate.


and also the viking main characters hometown is kattegat, a small village in a fjord, problem is kattegat is this:


the narrow passage between denmark and sweden named "cat's (ass)hole" by dutch sailors. nowhere near a fjord.

the languages are done really well when diffirent cultures speak ( dont be frightened most characters speak modern english when no other cultures are about):

 

Talking to my buddy about whether dragons are persons or animals. For, now, around ten hours. At 2 AM. While I should learn pericyclic and stereoselective chemistry.

It was neat enough in it's own rights. Starts out really epic, then kinda . . . not as good in the middle, but good again towards the endish. Worth a watch, it isn't too long either, so no big time commitments.

 

okay I'll check it out. got loads of downtime before I leave for my internship in two weeks ( to tenerife, for 10 weeks)
