Would anyone be interested either in hosting or joining one? It's been a long time and I've been doing a few of them on other forums, I always thought it was fun and would love to see it brought over here =P. I could try my hand at one here if you would like.
With that, the day came to an end. Everyone gathered around Gaverion. "Wait… what?" "You have been found out! Filthy traitorous Mafia scum!" "Wait… what!? No! It's not me! I swear! I literally just got here! How could it possibly be me!?" "The evidence clearly implicates you even though you just got here." "That doesn't make any sense!" "It doesn't have to make sense! That's the evidence!" With that they (and by they, I mean Dagda) tied up Gaverion and threw him in the river. After seeing that he did indeed not float, their (once again, Dagda's) confirmations were confirmed and the townspeople (or townsperson, Dagda) went off celebrating that they (again, by they, I mean Dagda) had gotten rid of the mafia and declared that henceforth, that day would be declared Dagda Day. Congratulations Townspeople (or… Dagda)!
Am I missing something or is this another group which aims to silence people like Prami by whatever means possible?
Forum Mafia is based off of the mafia card game which is also sometimes called Werewolf. Let's say within the game of 20 people, 6 people are mafia trying to get rid of the other 14 to claim the town as their own. While the mafia know the identity of each other, the other players have no information whatsoever at the beginning of the game. As time goes on, the goal for the mafia is to remove the other players without drawing suspicion to themselves and the goal for the towns players is to try to figure out who to trust, identify, and remove the mafia. It's a very fun game, if you would like, feel free to check out one of the mafias that I hosted from my mafia archive.
There's a lot of information to read, however, the play is fairly simple and straightforward. It may look complicated in text, but it is really simple of the most part in practice =). There are some other guides/threads out there as well if you would like some more information =). Let me know and I can try to dig them up.
