anyone else think it's funny that pox box makes more money then the owners

I think from Gedden's last Q&A they are considering it. Seems like they have a lot on their plate.

If so it would be a bit sad, but I've never spent cash on PB.

 

Could be strange but I find funny open packs, box and trade.
Spend money to a specific rune isn't funny, but obviously it is my opinion.

 

I was confused too, but maybe he considers the owls decent programmers as well.

The model would be something like - 10 USD harbingers max, and then some more money to be able to buy customizable add ons to it, like skins, taunts, naming tokens, different attack effects(without changing the attack characteristics). And to be able to do that with every rune. Like a skin set to make all skeletons looks like heavily armored skellies, all g'hern to be painted in moga blood, etc.

They moved away from it because of the micro-transaction theory behind it. While also making rune rarities a joke. I mean. If I buy a box then the hard to find ones have a higher rarity and are a bit better in battle. However if I can just pick up a Lich King by paying $0.75, and everyone decides to as well. Then Lich King has a rarity of a UC or Rare.

Single Rune stores destroy rarities.

On the thoughts of new comers. They will either like it or hate it.

Upon one look:

• "Wait? If I see a theme I like and decide I want to build it. I can get all the runes I need cheap and efficiently? Yes!"
• "Wait? Micro-Transactions. No." *Clicks away.*

I am not for or against a Single Rune Store. However. There are what I think the answers to the questions you wanted.
