Just a combo i would like to share with u all.. If u can find the nora.. it's fun to Deploy Firemaw behind your front line.. Then use Consume (Weaver for example) on it.. 10-15 global dmg to every unit ingame every other round (If amp is out.) for 170ish nora... Expensive.. but good in the long run i suppose.
appearently not Egg will spawn if u consume firemaw. Just be carefull of the massive fire dmg every 4th turn ^^ Hmm.. No clue.. or else a split with SL could be possible to "abuse" this combo
Trying it out, I've noticed some things. This combo does work. 10-15 global damage every other turn isn't all that great. 40-60 global damage IS all that great. Firelight gem does not work with Cataclysm. Sad day. My deck has naturally progressed into a mediocre charge-based FS/UD deck.
Sea Song, mostly! Consume actually works really well as a big heal if you have something that respawns. Firemaw is an expensive option, but I've done something similar with Spirit of the Mountain's projection (Respawns every turn). With sufficient support, the Attack Charged bit isn't too hard. Mail of Barbs helps a lot as well.
It's fun to split with SL and run Mail of Barbs and Ferocity of Kain Taris. If Mail doesn't get smashed, and they try to one-round leviathan, nope!
Not quite as good. Attack Charged 3 > Attack Charged 2 + Abuse Charged 3. Yep! Flameheart Pauldron is a must. Saves your own dudes and gives Amp Fire.
I used to play a Leviathan bg as an UD/ST split. Not sure how well it works after the revamp, but the idea looked like this: Obelisk to find Levi's, Flameheart pauldron on Chronomancer, + other Fire amp guys ( Lavaflow devourer), Mail of Barbs, Shielded, Healing hands, whatever else you need on Leviathan. Win. Basically, the enemy would concentrate all fire on Leviathan, thinking he has enough to kill. BAM HEALING HAND, DIDN'T EXPECT THAT HUH? - By then he has enough charges to win. Chronomancer uses Haste, It's super effective. I got up to limited with it. With new expansions the bg stayed just as strong, but enemies got more counters. So I stopped playing. Who knows how well it would work after the revamp.
