There is something weird with damage calculations... i'm playing a daily skimirsh and my units are taking more damage than they should, something like if their defence was ignored or sometimes even negative... Very strange. I'm playing ud against kf.
well they had no abilities that could have changed the damage. i was using heretic overlords. may be that is the source of the problem? i have no idea
If it happened to be the Goblin Brute one, note that they regularly deploy Temple of Brutality. It would've affected your melee units as well.
