How would you like pox 2.0 to be? What would you keep or throw away? I would toss the trading away like pest. No collecting. I would like completely new graphics. Keeping it simple but not pixelart anymore, it really drives people away. Even Heart Stone, which isn't that dependant on graphics, is really well finished and cool. I would also like to add a 3rd dimension to maps like some classic board wargames have. Oh... And would really love to have the new champs inspired by the old ones... But some new factions too. What about you?
There will never be a poxnora 2 unless they get 100k players at a current moment during weekends. If sprites would be 3D. We would be getting expansions once a year, regularly. I would remodeled the current game if they would change it to 3D. I mean some effects look like they don't need to be touched like lava terrain, poison cloud etc. They look good as they are. Everything else should stay the same. Honestly: - I just want the game to have 1k players at all time and then we can start talking a bit more.
1k players would be heaven on earth. Thia may sound super drastic but I think factions are a problem. If Pox 2.0 could be diverse, fun etc. without having factions... Because people love their factions too much. Its like being part of a gang, they defend it like its a matter life or death. I would make champs armies like circus mode with race, class, role and flavour but no faction. I think it wpuld tone down all the whining a lot.
so your solution to getting more players is to take away things they 'love too much' you sure youre not a pox dev?
Id love to see fog of war (like advanced wars) with units having a vision stat and stealth reworked to be the number of spaces they can move inside a units vision range without being seen.
Haha! I wish I was though. Yes because most love them the wrong way... Stalker way. Like a jealous old man loves his 20 years girlfriend, allways thinking someone is trying to firk her. Besides if there were no factions from the begining... How could you miss them as a new pox 2.0 player? Edited: trying to do 2 things at the same time and none went well.
New engine which could maybe be implemented but keep the rest. This art is awesome. Remove it and im gone
