Ok so I have no idea how many people this will apply to BUT.... I've never understood why the rank symbols got changed all those years ago. I thought they were great when ranks 50-100 had the dragon head, 25-50 had the feather head dude and top 25 were pretty much modern top 10 symbols. They were at least better than what we have now..... some grey stone things with blue splodges...... oh if you win and get some ranks you can have another blue splodge. Unfortunately I have absolutely no images of the old icons and cant find any so newer players could get in on this. If anyone has any to share that'd be grand. So I'm just intrigued to see how many of you are with me on this, are old rank icons better?
Id like the rank icons to represent your rank within your main faction as determined by your dow points. ladder ranking is just a number, it doesn't need a symbol too. higher rank will still = cooler icon, it will just also convey faction identity as well.
I probably just dont play enough to get used to the current ones honestly. But I don't like them as is.
We had this poll before.. The results were overwhelmingly in favor of the old ranking symbols! But nothing changed then and nothing shall change now!
Seriously how hard is this to implement. I'm genuinely curious because this is a treat for all the old players and it adds in some excitmemt for the new pvp players coming in to obtain new badass icons. Please say this isnt hard to do. Oh please fictional Jesus.
I'm one of those. My bad, I tougth it was a comparison between actual icons, and icons before revamp. Didn't remember those other really old icons (they were changed some months afterI started playing)
