Every time I try to start a campaign which involves a hero (ex. Hunt for Sarinda, The Demon Prince mission 2, etc) I just lose since the hero dies since he is not being played in the appropriate faction group (and has boss, hence the insta-loss), and the campaigns do not specify that we have to play a particular group. Pretty sure this didn't happen before today's patch. Edit: Doesn't seem to matter what BG I use, they just die upon game start. Be it full faction of the hero's faction, split or circus they just die.
This sounds like a perfect candidate for the bugs section of the forum. I will try to recreate in a little while.
I can't get this to happen for me on the mission you describe using a non-faction deck. Is this still happening for you?
