Well I got the last 20 points to break into the Limited League from a budget UD deck so I have done my part... Although the people doing the poor mans challenge are doing a lot more for the game than I did!

LOL the guy plays HS and is concerned about p2w? The real challenge that Pox represents to new players lies in the learning curve; like I've said before, an experienced player can make a top tier bg in a few days, from scratch, only with gold and trading with PB. However, the time it takes for a new player just to get the hang of how things work slows this time down by a LOT, specially because as a rule, new players don't get how important knowing the runes is, don't visit forums( where all tutorials and guides are), and very few try asking things in game. My guess is that many people have tried it, got pwned and gave up, and we were never aware.
Which is why I like the new system, because it discourages players from giving up because they are embarrassed by their rank. You are right about good players being able to make a good deck in a few days with budget runes and winning.

My own internet went out shortly after but luckily for me he never reconnected else this would have counted as a loss.
