Lets brainstorm whom the eight new heroes should be, if we were to get eight new heroes. With Sokolovs long term goal of looking at Hero champs. Who knows, we may get lucky an get a new line of heroes in the mix. M'alrese / L'llim (KF) M'alrese is an Archer Commander that I think would make a great addition to KF as a whole, and especially to the Archer theme. She could be a key fighting unit from which to fight around. Alternatively L'ilim is a archer instructor now that his fighting days are over. He could be made as a full blown support hero, providing stat boosts to the theme. Either is a good direction. In either case, Volley Leader seems like a good ability to stick on them. Derifos (SL) I've seen several mentions to Derifos the Dunewalker as being both ellusive, and powerful. Controlling a vast expanse of Valdacs Desert region. He could be the rune to finally bring Sand into mainstream pox. Desert Master seems like a good candidate for him. Votaev (UD) Votaev is the ferryman of the molten river that runs through the lower Underdepths. When a demon dies, its essence goes back to that river where it builds its strength back up over time. When strong enough, Votaev will fish them out of the river to fight again. This may be a picture of him. Reminds me of Moragen in a sense. Randgal (UD) Would also make a good selection for UD. Maxxerek and Randgal have a long standing rivalry IIRC. Seeing as Minotaurs are a mainstream theme in UD now, it'd also make sense for them to get someone to lead them. If I had a choice for UD it's a toss up. On one hand I like Votaevs lore, and on the other, I like Minotaurs. XD Back to the point. Who do you want to be made into a Hero?
I like this thread. It's good to have atleast 1 hero for every theme, because not only are they cool. But they really help solidify a theme.
Tachrim would be cool for FW. But Dark Apprentice is pretty much Tachrim so not sure what you'd do with that Cast Votaevs Grasp would be cool as Bane Shift
As much as it wouldnt interest me I would hope that an IS hero would be a Grintmaw. We have Dwarves, Barbs and Pallys covered.
Yes but Dirge has free will, constructs do not (?) Edit: Maybe make a construct hero kinda like DMC so you have that "man and machine makes one" vibe
You could have the whole "Master builds machine. Machine becomes sentient. Machine rebels against master" plot line. Call the construct Ultron or something. Whether or not he appears as a hero, it would be nice to have Randgal for a minotaur bg. Malandur is such a letdown, worst mino ever.
