ok so I know I am not the only person disappointed that he isn't sand related. What I do think is that it is a very good rune and has potential for a meta build. Thoughts?
Yes u are not alone, when i read dunes enigma i wanted it for my sand bg So, it has good stats for its cost, not a great drawback from nora induction, and good abilities(tremor + mine field is so good). The cons are that it's not related with any theme in SL, not a draksar, not a skeezick, not a dragon neither a beast, so it can find a place just in meta/splits, but there are few runes for the same cost with those potential.
Synergetic with skybreak dragon, which is a great rune on its own. Probably could make some bgs around the champ idea (dragoleech, infestor or cheap meat for creation hp thingy). Probably not gonna be good. SL/ST split with skybreak dragon and elementals should be gold.
All of this. I really like his signature ability, but when I look at him, I wanna find some sort of fancy equipment to put on him. Anything that makes him more than "move and basic attack".
