From what I can tell after playing today, there is already a boost in players in the ranked queue. And I already beat 2 level 99 peeps with turn 3 drowns lol. Thanks a lot for doing this

Because they already hoarded all you good runes man haha.

 

Only do this for the new players and probably should check that people aren't multi-acounting as they all do but cool idea and ur site is still the best trader.

that's a comprehensive list of everyone who is participating in ranked right now? its even worse than I thought. You would think all the PDC candidate names would be on there at least. guess theyre all playing alts?

 

wondering how many players is that 100 - 200 ?

 

The ACTUAL list of ranked is 1197 of which 130 played more than 15 games, grew enough in rank, have a poxbox account and logged in poxbox previous week.

This just shows poxbox might not be as popular people might think

 

Or didn't register their username on poxbox.

Thanks for doing this decondor, this is a great contribution. Could you clarify how exactly rating changes are factored into the points? Is it just the difference of rating between the start and end of the week, e.g. if you play 50 matches and gain 40 experience (or more), you get 90 points? Or is it more intricate than that?

 

Experience splits in 3, so 60+ games and 120 experience gain you 100 points, double if you are a limited league player, and maybe I modify all leagues to a certain extent in the future.

And yes it is between the start and the end of the week (wednesday till wednesday) but I measure every day. You can see your progress, or that of anyone in the 'rank info' tab on poxbox

So what are the rules to be part of the payout? Thing is I have a friend who is newish and low on runes and this got him playing ranked games for the first time in forever, but it seems he didn't play enough games or something as he did not turn up on the payoff (Oldbreaker).

 

He should have a message they he was not being ranked at all (being when starting won't payout) on the 9th of april. So he will take part next week and if he at least trades once with poxbox (this can be a bronze token to bronze token trade) and logs in that week on poxbox
