Favorite Spell Animation: Burnout. Favorite SFX: The 'SHHWUHPOOOOM!' sound when a champion dies. Actually, to be more specific; the unique pattern of 'deathplosions' when a single spell, ability, etc. causes multiple champions to die.
Yesss so much this. I love the effect of "Bounce" when it triggers on a leapping champ (it bounces away, litterally). I like the crows from "Attack: Raven" and the sound of Attack Spear. The sound effect of Decapitating Blow The sprites and effect from the Spikes and bats when SP loses a match. I like the updated shocked effect The Maxxarek's and Aspect of Death deployment effect I also like how traps (From laytrap) look on the map.
That one that happens when the Garu Cub stops being a cub. Oh wait... Get to it, guys. Gedden's credibility is on the line.
I really liked vuln fire + nora shield + flame siphon and/or fire volitality thrown in there somewhere. Exile/Mercy Barbs. One of my favorite times in this game.
Woah dude, was just pointing it out to you that your post really doesn't belong in this thread. Chill.
Those effects in tandem were harmonious. It kind of does, actually. I like the effects of Exiling a plains savage, casting mercy on it, then casting retribution. The three of them together had nice visuals, and lots of sound effects. A barb drops, and a barb respawns, and you get the knife sharpen ret sound followed by a holy revival sound. None of these things interact the way they did so the effect is no longer reproducable. Retribution doesn't destroy, Exile I have no idea, Mercy maybe does the same thing, and the Barbarian racial is gone. I also don't think my previous post was worthy of a passive aggressive "chill", but it's of no concern. I hope I clarified for you why I like Exile/Mercy/Barb racial/Ret.
No worries. It was one of my favorite combos too. But if you cast all those things in a row, it was basically the sound of victory.
Snuff is cool, with the skeleton going accross the screen. I'd like to see more noticeable effects like that.
Also there are some weird choices of abilities that get an on-deploy graphic effect -- like impair vision, is that so important that it needs everyone to know about it?
TBH there aren't many effects I find even slightly noticeable, at least with what I've encountered so far, but my favourite has to be finding out that equiping Mosharn with Providence actually gave him that shield. If I thought it were feasible I'd love it for more equipment to be like that with more champs.... I mean, even the most modern of strategy games today rarely has that kind of thing. So seeing it with that was cool.
