i think mulligan has murdered a number of bg's in a lot of factions (buffed some too) that relied upon consistent draws. Scry made this easier. Also you use salaman investigator. i think hes nice but he should have recycle not shatter and needs a melee creativity champ in salamen to make for an interesting interaction and some interesting decision making. Also i think people have just in general adapted to them. they've been played to death for like the past 3 months. everyone knows whats coming. sometimes thats just how it is.
I actually think the 5 space rule has a bigger impact than anticipated. There's still plenty of dmg in the theme.
