Do we need to keep trying the new client so you guys can get more feedback or what ? I don't recall that the new client would take quite so long and am just curious what's happening and how close are we ?
There's actually been a few updates recently, not sure when you checked back last: I posted a general update on PoxNora: http://forums.poxnora.com/index.php?threads/state-of-poxnora-2017.26513/ The new client went into closed beta with a small group of Pox Players, and then went into more open beta earlier this month: http://forums.poxnora.com/index.php?threads/new-pox-nora-client-beta.26538/#post-373080 I have posted updates on the new Player made expansion: http://forums.poxnora.com/index.php...view-discussion-protectorate-champions.26392/ http://forums.poxnora.com/index.php...ion-preview-discussion-wrath-champions.26398/ http://forums.poxnora.com/index.php...ion-preview-protectorate-non-champions.26261/ http://forums.poxnora.com/index.php?threads/player-expansion-preview-wrath-non-champions.26268/ ~ Since the beta went open, there's been no updates, but basically there's nothing new to report as of right now; we are working on the client both stuff we need to finish as well as things reported by the players. If people have time, they should absolutely still test the new client and continue to provide thoughts and feedback.
By any chance will the next big update (One likely coming with the expansion and/or client) include any shoebox buffs or is it just a balance and bug patch?
What new client? Is it on Mac? When is the PS4 thing happening? Not that I'll use it, just looking forward to new players and a better UI.
It depends on what you mean by "shoebox buffs" to some extent. For example, is buffing Euan's Hammer and Freezing Strike a shoebox buff? Specifically, there was no shoebox buff "round", but adjusting older champions not to nerf them is something that kind of just happens as I see them or someone makes a request I agree with - so I don't specifically recall what is included, but there are usually some things.
Ah good, i just like to be annoying. In the betatest forum its been tested on Linux, so think you could probably get it running on a Mac, I hope for the future since they changed client/base it could be run on the 25 OS that Unity supports atm. but think ps4 and windows are the focus.
