This is on the new PC Client. Its called The Tide Turns if that matters. Screenshots should explain it:

It is actually an error in the order of the 2 encounters. Clicking THE WRONG icon on map started it. So it helped. Gimmicky, but I am playing now, thanks
There is another bug in today's daily which causes the winning on the first encounter not to count (and yet you can still get rewards) but you never reach the second one.
I got the same problem with todays Daily, I can repeat finish the first part for 200gold per time but not go into the next encounter, so today i guess people could reach max limit for gold if they notice this and on the page before i dont get it to add to the counter it says 0/2 all the time today
