PvE difficulty rewards

Hello! When playing PvE, are there better rewards if I play on harder difficulty? The goal is to farm.

 

I believe you get more gold per game, but the added time it takes offsets the gain.

 

Yes, you typically get more gold with higher difficulty, though I think the amount varies between different campaigns.
Curiously, the difficulty setting on the daily skirmish seems to make no difference in either game difficulty or award.

 

Daily skirmishes weren't created with different difficulties, I believe the settings are displayed but don't function.

 

If you go for campaigns with fixed rewards they only drop on legendary. I think you have a higher chance for a random exo drop on higher difficulties, but I'm not sure about that.

 

For farming gold ya wana finish games asap. maximise gold gained for time spent.
