Nah. Not shoebox. Ireguard is fun in a romperstomper way, but requires lots of protection.

Pincushion is way better in the real world.

 

Not against No Can Do + Mocking blows. Seriously I have known people use a double hammer strike just to kill Khong Monk.

 

Ireguard just goes around the monk and kills your shrine.

3AP to disengage The Monk can block 2 attacks. This is the only way in which the Ireguard can draw with the monk indefinitely.

Try Blizzard Cloak on Khong Monk it can literally do 60 damage on an enemy turn against 0 defence champs.

 

Aurora Lancer can give him a good run for his money.
