Why are they so trash for their cost, i'm looking at things in other factions and they have 20+ more health 6+ more damage and they only cost 20 nora more. Also all mogaz have -3 damage and -1 speed without another unit present ? They seem too expensive
they don't seem to have a lot of alternate damage either aoes ruin them they seem to be the worst theme in the game The game is about positioning, yet this theme forces you to position within the realm of opposing aoes. low damage low health low defense Dark familiar- 6 damage, 5 speed, 1 range, 1 defense, 35 health domain shadows elsari dusk attack: physical veiled flight after elsari dusk activates 11 damage, 8 speed, 1 defense, 45 health, flight, and stealth, 55 nora cost. moga trailblazer- 9 damage, 7 speed, 1 range, 0 defense, 35 health initiative 1 master climber attack: physical g'hernbound- -3 damage and -1 speed unless you stand within range of being spell spammed to oblivion mountaineer 48 nora cost someone explain please
You can position perfectly only to have your whole strategy upended by something like psychic agony. The ability does 5 different things, and it rewards poor positioning by an opponent. Just positioned for a power turn, only to have all my units ensnared, distracted and take 5 psychic damage all because I positioned properly to kill his champ. 5 damage of any kind to moga is like a nuke going off
If that AoE is hitting that many of your moga, you're postisioning poorly. There's only a handful of AoEs bigger than 4, and most cost more nora than a new moga.
Psychic agony isn't an aoe, it's global. Most spells have an aoe 4, true, but with the g'hernbound nonsense your often within 4 or 5 spaces, depending on terrain, opposing unit positioning, often time all you can do is sit within the aoe 4. Also, losing one moga is often a death sentence as it takes so many of them to deal quality damage.
Vicious Harpoon. That's the main positioning you need. The strength of mogas is numbers. Gherns should be your main killers. The mogas just assist them in getting kills.
