Homing Sense doesnt work at all

I was playing with Utterdark soulrender but when i created the necessary compunds for this passive to work it instead gives the effect of jumping but didnt work and when i opened the combat log it said ''Utterdark Soulrender homes in on Temp Data's Temp Data.Is it just me or is it bugged ?

 

Hasn’t worked for years

 

Its only purpose right now is to serve as a 0 nora mobility as it's bugged.
