Havent used them since 2011 to get a warbanner. Forgot about the site till now andnoticed the trader went offline...did their greed finally catch up to them or did he simply quit?
Gainer decided to close shop and essentially scammed people out of the credits they had remaining. He then tried to sell the shop/website but without succes. Rumors has it that he still sells single runes via mail but ignore other contact
it's hard to say that, he tells he is going to close, I take all my credit in time, if u ignore what he say why u blame him?
He did not. Read what he wrote on the mainpage as news. If he has not deleted it, the prolog is still there

i mean, while he didn't expressly say that he was going to close (which yes, he should have), i read through the front page and it looked like a close was inevitable. he mentions how he's trying to raise funds for "other avenues in his life", how he doesn't have much time left for tcgbay, and multiple times how he's considered/ing selling off the store, or parts of it. so sure yeah he should have put up that he was closing, but at the same time if you didn't pick up that it was happening and you were keeping up on the store's news, i dunno what to tell you. just playing devil's advocate here
I'm the self appointed devil's advocate around here. As others have said, the writing was on the wall. While not explicitly stated, it should have been expected. If you were away for a while, you shouldn't have left credit there. With as often as player run stores come and go, you can't rely on them to be there when you come back from a hiatus.
Meh i didnt leave credit personally, i was just curious what happened. I kinda got the jist of it that he closed the store but the wnglish i it was poor lol.
Heat death of the universe is inevitable. Therefore, you should not blame anybody if you are foolish enough to invest in anything. A hard close date would have been nice but Gainer was a pretty standup guy from everything I saw. If you took exception with him, I'd have chalked it up to being one of those who blames capitalism and rational self interest on the woes of the world. I was out when he closed and probably left a fair amount of credit there. It doesn't keep me up nights and he didn't get added to my list of people to blame for my poor behavior and life choices.Which is okay. I am blaming Pyro for everything this week in honor of becoming the biggest pygmy in this forum.
His latest update talks about closing for a few days. Read it in its entirety and then tell me with a straight face that he has not lied and cheated people out of credits
Its hard to say if that was his ibtention or not...i nean hes still paying for the domain so who knows? Meybe he'll come back around
He tried to sell the runes, shop, domain and website while still owing people credits and being "temporaly" closed.

You mean the message where he says he's got nearly no time left and is only taking cash trades? If that didn't ring a bell, it's probably good that you got 'scammed and cheated" out of some measly credits. It's a cheap price to learn a valuable lesson. And I doubt you had a decent amount of credits to begin with if you forumpm people asking to lend bgs.
