Discussion: Preview of New World Map

The orange spots being different than the green lead me to believe that in the future single player campaigns will be on different maps than they are currently. Is that a correct deduction?

 

The single player maps are usually similar looking with a different amount of mapsFonts. I assumed they weren't the same location, but really close.

 

I never thought the maps had an actual location in the pox world.

 

Notably, there is only one SP map, and nothing in northern Maljara.

Really cool concept here. I like it. I hated how the lore took a back seat after Sony took over.

Also- I REALLY want to see more maps. New maps have a great way of invigorating people for less work than, say, a full expansion.

Glad this is getting an update. I usually refer to it for my Lore stories so this is greatly appreciated. My eyes thank you, kind Dev's.

 

Its so awesome that you should put this on the website too, next to the interactive world map and maybe a different map selection tool in-game, like when creating a new game instead of selecting the map from a list you can click the are you want to play on this map

 

I'm not going to say that they ripped off the EQ map, but it's pretty damned close.
